What OS?
32-bit or 64-bit?
When you check on BIOS? What's the amount of RAM stated?
Try run CPU-Z, go to the Memory tab, how much the amount of RAM stated?
and go to the SPD tab, see how much amount ram in each ram slot...

or just open up the access panel to the RAM compartment and plug the ram out and insert it back, maybe just bad contact....
*
ive run the cpu-z , in memory tab it shows 4gb
and in the speed tab it shows 2 gb for each slot

so its nothing wrong when it shows only 2 gb in my computer properties?
