QUOTE(green_apple @ Aug 29 2010, 12:00 AM) Hey Guys! Hihi, congratulations on the purchase!Just bought a Toshiba laptop a couple of days ago. Now I have problem with registering the waranty online via Toshiba's site. What should I do?????? Which laptop did you buy? You can register for the 1st year international warranty here (within 30 days of purchase): http://www.toshiba-asia.com/portal/public/...rentTab=service Just type in model number/ serial number as well as some personal details then should be okay le. Should've have problems with this one. Just in case got problem or you want to extend warranty, then need to go to Teledynamics at Shah Alam or lowyat plaza top floor, they'll be able to help out with that |

Hi guys, I dunno did you all mention before the issue about the laptop bottom part and the trackpad heat up very easily. I think i'm using LS 310, my trackpad and the bottom part heat up very fast. May I know what can I do about it? I do use a cooler fan under it. Thank You.

That's kind of an old model already, almost same age as my Satellite M100 hehe How old is your laptop? 3 years? Perhaps can do some maintenance on it? Can clear the dust on the fan blades, either by opening up the casing/ using vacuum cleaner hehe You can also consider getting a good cooler pad (preferably aluminium ones) for better cooling. That's the best you can do at the moment since some laptops do have the tendency to get rather hot (especially those that are getting old, my M100 was quite hot too) |

QUOTE(green_apple @ Aug 29 2010, 11:08 PM) means have to call up teledynamics la?? I also notice the 1+2 years warranty... got extra charge aa? Well, calling Teledynamics is just for you to check whether they have registered your laptop's promotional free 2nd and 3rd year local warranty or not No extra charges for the warranty extension... You can take your time, perhaps call them after 2-3 weeks, it will take them some time to register your product. The recovery medias, as the name suggests, are backup system discs for your laptop, those discs include your Windows 7 (32-bit/64-bit) as well as all Toshiba drivers and applications. These discs will come in handy should you need to reformat your laptop. There will be a hidden partition in all Toshiba laptops that contains all these system files but its good to create those recovery discs as additional backup just in case something happens to your harddisk [touchwood]. You will need 4 DVD+R discs to backup all the files. Note: DVD+R, not DVD-R This post has been edited by [PF] T.J.: Aug 29 2010, 11:15 PM |

what could the problems be if the laptop hang? seldomly, but mine had stucked for few times already. >.<
3-4 times. which always stuck during the start-up, after logging in. this could be minor, but just a precaution This post has been edited by xwsmx: Sep 8 2010, 12:43 AM |
