Oh, btw, I remember from the list release last time when they just change from RON97 fuel to RON95, the turbo spec of the Airtrek need RON97 to run, while the NA spec version can work on RON95.

Ya, tht true, but just making sure he know the turbo version run on RON 97 anyway, it's a nice car, just don't drive it like an EVO because it's NOT, in the wet u'll still go out of control and crash into the longkang, i know, i saw it before Cause I saw one person pumping RON 95 into his Turbo spec Airtrek while i was refueling my car |

i'm driving an airtrek turbo, but my advise is dont pump the ron95, coz the engine will knocking like nobody knows...
so far if u r looking for a fuel saving car, forget about this car. but if u r looking for a powerful turbo suv, this car is ur choice, coz the price is affordable compare to toyota caldina & subaru forester (but both of tht car will call wagon, i think) u can visit to our airtreker.com too for more information about airtrek. Turbo engine run better on high octane But you can tune for 95 octane at reduce boost/power of course Anyway,Airtrek Turbo R can share a lot of EVO stuff so easily can be make into powerful car |

Very poor mileage... RM 100 = 400km at most. Plus, you will have to take care of the AWD system.
There are 4 type of oils - engine, gearbox, centre diff and rear diff. Total may cost up to RM 500 easily. |

QUOTE(NelsonBoy @ Dec 12 2009, 10:00 AM) Nelson,Ask yourself. If you, instead, bought the TURBO version,I'm sure you will be tempted to release the beast on every straight road, as compared if you owned the NA version, right? Don't tell me that if you buy the TURBO version, you will do granny driving and granny shifting. If you say yes, you are lying to yourself. So the answer is there for you to compare the NA and Turbo.Turbo drugs and on boost temptation are 'expensive' sensations. This post has been edited by SleeplessEyes: Dec 12 2009, 10:17 AM |
