there are 2 types of connection through internet, either pppoe ( username n pass inside modem) or bridge connection ( connect using pc, username n pass in pc)

before getting WRT54GL, heres some research to make sure everything works fine~

since im using direct downloads for some website which limits simultaneous download, i'll have to reconnect streamyx everytime to change my ip so i can continue downloads without waiting for another 1 hour or 30 mins of queuing time, and bridge connection will be much more easier when it comes to reconnecting the line, otherwise pppoe will require me to login to modem to do the reconnecting.

and i prefer bridge setup bcoz this allows me to host game in flying spaghetti monster without any lags complaint while in pppoe setting, im not able to do so, sometimes line get easily dc
so im wondering if bandwidth shaping, qos still works under bridge connection? which my pc is the host of streamyx and all other mates connect to net through sharing of my line.
