yeah, the 5800xm (not sure about others smartphone lah cause i dont have them) sure easily require a hard reset if:

1. you install some modify theme which require manual file patching.
2. you connect your phone as mass storage and #$@%^%#%% happen.
3. you remove your mem card not properly.
4. you hack your phone and install @#$%^&^%& within.

so, if u don't wanna hard reset your phone then just keep do below:

1. don't connect the usb shit.
2. don't remove the memory without power off the hp first.
3. don't put !@#$%%^^** into your phone at once (it will search every single dam files within to get it regconice).
4. don't hack your phone.
5. only install proper signed applications.

if you are using orange homescreen and get an update error when installing the SIS, use this one instead (attached). Take note again - you need a hacked phone to enjoy this. Make sure you have xplore or ybrowser to rename the appropriate folder to match your network MCC+MNC. Have fun and enjoy this great new year gift!

I agree on the Camera quality not good.

I dump my old n73 and bought this phone. Everything was perfect except the headphones volume too low for music hearing and camera quality. My old n73 take crispy picture even better than this one =.=!
