not everyone will get used to the touchscreen phone actually.
better to test it out fully first before deciding to buy.

I don't think this phone is full with problems. Has been working fine for me for almost one year now.

yup, tats the thing. furthermore im quite a dinosaur in gadget world, tis will b my first touchscreen phone if i get it. n im still having doubts in my mind if i should get a normal phone or a touchscreen. cos i scared if got any problem i will really be helpless >"<

im not too sure about the problems, two of my close friends got it and one of them got problem while another 1 is working fine. so i think tat will be depending on the person's luck rite?

Try this:
Menu>Settings>Connectivity>Destinations>Access Point

The phone wil ask "Automatically check for access points?" and you say yes.It will then do the scan and after you choose the relevant network from the list. Then you enter the pre-shared code, and after that choose "Internet" for the destination.

Now back in the Destinations menu, Select Internet and you will see the new point you have created. It should by dfault be the 1st priority above your network provider's access points, otherwise select Options>Organise and move it up. The best set up for destinations is to have any WLAN networks at the top, then when you connect to the internet it will try to find them first and only go to your network if no WLANs are found.

You should now find that you can go straight to the web browser and start browsing - the phone will display connection options, you choose Internet and it finds the network, and you should not need to repeat the passcode.

If you were saying the older batch, should be the earpiece problem. But so far newer batch should be lesser problem already.

for me, nokia t9 never failed, especially compare to those m******a. the keypad soo responsive. for the 5800 the ts also very good and fast for typing. but most of all this will user dependent. what i like the most will be the cost vs features for th 5800, never ever any phone offer such technologies with this price tag.

Guys,

I need some help here. I bought my tube on July this year under Avaxx warranty. My screen happen to appear a "stucked" pixel now, can I claim warranty from the service centre? unsure.gif

P/S: BTW, what's the latest firmware now? Any updates after V31.0.101?

Thanks in advance smile.gif

you can always try to claim warranty from the service centre, if u ask the Q here, i suppose no one have the right to answer u whether can or cannot claim the warranty.

as for the firmware, u can always check through nokia website to see the latest available firmware, or refer to FP.

P/S: Pls think b4 post Q here

Well, I'm just asking for users experience feedback and I guess there is no harm in learning more about the case before encountering it. If I know some users had experienced dealt with service centre which they managed to claim, then I can try further to negotiate if they're refusing upon me. Else I might just walk-away without wasting extra saliva on them.

I'm sorry regarding the firmware version updates on FP, my bad. But please, think people may be looking for "other" information than just purely YES or NO on warranty claims service thingy. I always believed users experience are the best to being shared.
