hey guy , wats the default pincode for nokia 5800?

the userguide only got default lock code , dun hav default pin code .... i juz got another 1more attempt..wat if my phone get locked bcoz of wrong pin code ...

how can i unlock it ?

hi guys, i tried to install killme to my tube many times. but unfortunately, there was a msg said "certificated error. contact supplier bla..bla".

need all sifus to help me to resolve my prob. thanks lot!

1st , request a cert. and key file from http://cer.opda.cn/en or http://cer.s603rd.cn/ or http://www.s60certkey.com , giv them ur IMEI no. and ur own cert. file and key file will be ready in few hours , i get mine in 3-4hours yesterday

2nd , after ur cert. and key file ready , go download tis > http://cer.opda.cn/uploads/tools/SignSISTool.zip & http://cer.opda.cn/uploads/tools/signsis.exe


3nd , sign ur software cert. by using the SignSIStool.zip .

4nd , u can install d... u r getting certificate error is becoz the software is unsigned ...hope tis help u

cert file is my killme file la rite? what to fill in the table for Effective Start time of the cer., The number of signing software, Certificate expire time?

is it IMEI ?

Cert file and killme file is different.

Cert file should be named the same as your IMEI numbers.

i updated my 5800xm to latest v31, and after the update completed, it went into blank but the button light is still on.

err is this normal? how long do i hv to wait? coz its already been 2-3 hours.

when u get into the website , the is a ORANGE logo "Apply Cer" click on it , write ur IMEI , model and submit ur application .

wait for 3-4 or maybe 12hours ...then check back after that , if stated completed , then u can download the cert. and key file d

cert file not necessary to be named as per IMEI.
just download from the website, no need to change the name, n cert file is ext ended with ".cer"

Is it the WHITE screen with NOKIA word?

In that case maybe u can try hard reset to solve it


turn off the phone first

Press green button, red button, camera button and switch on button at the same time

wait until the screen appear with the PIN key in screen

then proceed accordingly like what u do normally

So can your phone be started at all or hand just like that?

During the firmware update, the phone will be restarted but not until 2-3 hours later tho. Usually instantly and there will be a warning message stated also.

try take out memory card and try again first. if all else fails, do hard reset.

how to save my home wifi password inside ? its kind of hassle to key in evertime ...

Try this:
Menu>Settings>Connectivity>Destinations>Access Point

The phone wil ask "Automatically check for access points?" and you say yes.It will then do the scan and after you choose the relevant network from the list. Then you enter the pre-shared code, and after that choose "Internet" for the destination.

Now back in the Destinations menu, Select Internet and you will see the new point you have created. It should by dfault be the 1st priority above your network provider's access points, otherwise select Options>Organise and move it up. The best set up for destinations is to have any WLAN networks at the top, then when you connect to the internet it will try to find them first and only go to your network if no WLANs are found.

You should now find that you can go straight to the web browser and start browsing - the phone will display connection options, you choose Internet and it finds the network, and you should not need to repeat the passcode.

sory..got some problem..i transfer some music files into my memory card..but the music player says 'no song', what is the problem?...and the images in the 'images and videos' folder oso disapear..
