- It might work, might not (depends on the card)
- The phone might read second partition, might not.
- Use at your own risk, I take no responsibility for any loss or damage.

I’m gonna give you a little guide I came up with which helps you partition your memory card, SD, MMC, Mini SD, Your 8GB SD Card disk, with this trick you can partition all of them.

We all know that Windows doesn’t let your partition removable storage disks unless of course it’s a external hard disk which when connected is not classified as a removable medium, what happens is when you try to partition a removable medium there’s this option “Delete Partition’ which is required but its grayed out which obviously means not allowed. Basicaly what we are going to do is ungray it.

There’s this software I came across which is probably the best software ever made for windows, well I think so but that’s just me. Its made by a guy called Stephen Hewitt's, its freely available form his site, now I’ve attached it here but anyway this trick I did would not be possible without his app so visit his site if you liked my trick, I’ve given a shortcut to his site in the attachment.

Download the the Windows Enable attachment and extract it, you should see a folder called Windows Enabler, go into it and double click on ‘Windows Enabler’ it just runs no need to install. Once download and clicked it your notice a new icon in your tray.

Plug in the removable medium, if it’s a memory card use a memory card reader, I think you can also use mass storage on your phone but’ve never tried, you can’t use the pc suite method. If it’s a flash disk just plug it in…..

Ok now goto control panel and if your using the classic view just click on ‘Administrative Tools’ If your using the Category View than click on ‘Performance and Maintenance’ than ‘Administrative Tools’ whatever way you prefer your choice just get to "Administrative Tools".

ow once there click on ‘Computer Management’ and a new Computer Management box will open, now navigate to ‘Disk Management’ and on the right you should see all your drives including the removable medium you want to partition, now mine here is called Zylam Marex (Surprise)..

Ok now look to the bottom right of the computer management box directly under the area where the disks are shown you should see some info like; Disk 0 Basic….etc you should see your drive here too, now just right click on your drive and select ‘Delete Partition’ but wait its grayed out?



So now goto your tray and find the New Icon and just click it once, it should change and say on like so:

Now go back to the computer management box and right click and there we have it’ the option to Delete Partition, go ahead and click it.



Its gonna give you are confirmation, hit yes that is if you wanna partition your removable medium.

Now in the same place your removable medium name will be gone and something like this will appear; Unallocated



Now right click and select new partition.



Follow the wizard and chose Primary Partition



On the next screen it will ask for then size but its also grayed don worry just click on it and input whatever size you want, now I’m doing 300 for my 1GB miniSD.





And just leave the Drive Letter settings

On the Next Screen make sure ‘Format This partition is checked and chose a type, if your partition is above 2GB chose Fat32 its better otherwise Fat is ok. You can give a name to this partition and also tick Perform a Quick Format. Hit next and finish.



Now you will be taken back to the computer management box and wait for the partition to read healthy, Once that’s done congrats you now have your first partition.



Now to make another one just repeat the same, in the Unallocated space which will be right next to your newly created partition right click and chose New Partition and again make sure to chose Primary Partition again. That’s it your done.



To Bring your disk back to its full volume just do the same delete every partition and make a new one with max campacity and your get all your space back
