Good view from all. Movie time.

"Fear (of losing someone or something) leads to anger.
Anger leads to hate.
Hate leads to ..... suffering."

Words of wisdom from Master Yoda to Anakin Skywalker in Jedi Temple.

Anakin was too attached(exaggerated not wanting to be separated) from his loved one, and this attachment holds himself prisoner, eventually changed his destiny by turning himself to the darkside of the force.

The only constant is change. Grasping at things can only yield one of two results: Either the thing you are grasping at disappears, or you yourself disappear. It is only a matter of which occurs first.

The wisdom to counter attachment is to know when to let go.....

Don't Yoda always talk backwards?
It's better to not be attached to something (eventhough we are). But it depends entirely on the person or the kind of attachment, they can either be good or bad.

Meditate on this, I will
and not
I will meditate on this

The way he constructed a sentence is back to front, however the message remains the same. This is something unique about him.

Do you mean desire less? I would say this is not easy to achieve....probably a small category of monks or priest/father can achieve this.

IMO, there is nothing wrong to aim for achieve something or wish for some products/goods e.g. an Iphone. As long as one works hard for it and not stealing it or ask the unaffordable parent to buy one.

By being attached to something/someone, it could provide you with comfort etc etc. Think about it
Of course the possibility of it being otherwise is possible but life is about taking chances as well.

It creates values and it causes pain. The awareness is that it is not permanent and have the ability to evaluate whether it is within our reach, this is my shallow interpretation of attachment.
