After all the calls  and      they called me today with TC installer wld contact me in the next 10 days. The telemarketing team seems to be unable to handle the situation so looks like the waiting will continue.
Its confirmed HD is free until april and HD channels will correspond with your package and once subscribed u must keep HD for 12 months. Present decorder can keep if u keep pay RM80 return if not pay nothing.So the facts are simple i think no confusion.
I guess installation has not begun it wld start next week onwards.

After 12 months , you're a free bird. Kinda pointless to have a HD decoder when you say you dont want HD stuff anymore !  Astro knows you're continue going to subscribe for HD

Don't know is anyone post this info before:

If you just registered for Astro less than 2 years, and if you now upgrade to Astro B.yond, the contract of 1 year for Astro B.yond is count together with your previous contract for normal Astro.  That mean you contract period with Astro after installed Astro B.yond is not extended from current contract instead it is concurrent with 2 years contract period (for normal Astro). 

This mean if until April 2010, you still got more than 1 year or 1 year contract for normal Astro, you Astro B.yond will end at least same day or before your normal Astro contract. 

In future when you cancel Astro B.yond, Astro will collect back the decoder as it is now on loan basis.

Just verified with Astro Customer Service about above info.
