it's all abt ur location, the demand and supply of the setop box is different depending on ur place, some place hv less demand, so lesser waiting time, some place have higher demand, so longer waiting time.

hahaha. i am really sad. called my management, they r clueless abt Astro HD, then fwd me to our nominated MATV contractor, she askd me to calld astro on their date of launch, WTF!!! she got a free lecture abt Astro Byond fr me, so in conclusion ,my apt's central system is not HD compliant, and oni god know's when they will upgrade it to be HD ready... hahahha in the mean time i m REALLY contemplating to install an independent dish, that would be illegal according to our House Rule yo, and my homw is facing outside, it'll stick like a sore thumb......

1st my management is clueless abt Astro Byond n fwd me to our nominated installer, who sed tht our centralizd dish is not HD ready. Hence need to rewire every thang, up untill the wall socket (which i think, the cost is way too high, which translated to NO!!!) so i am contemplating to do an individual dish installation in my balcony, which contravened the House Rules....

most prolly, box is assembled here, due to some astro customisation n oso low volume as compared to be make in china, must hv bigger volume for economy of scale.......... as for the generic remote n power brick, more economical to be PRCd...

like wht other ppl had sed earlier, the main sole purpose of a HD channel, is to show it in HD, not to have different show, boy u have difficulties understanding such easy concept... i feel sad for you..

u r better off visiting an independent astro retailers to register... once u registered, they go n take byond unit n install to ur house. going thru telemarketers.........................
