i have a couz that is coming back from Aus.
i was informed that XBOX is region locked ie PAL and NTSC

is it possible to play it here as he mentioned it is PAL.

if M'sia is NTSC does anyone know how to mod it from PAL to NTSC and the cost?

No, you can't mod it like that LEGALLY anyway.
I think there are still many good games that are region free, and the games that aren't, you're gonna have to hunt for the PAL ones yourself.

So unfortunately, there's no way to change it to NTSC, but it isn't that bad.
Worse comes to worse, you could always sell it off for an NTSC one.

There're no legal way to mod the console. any attempt to mod the console will risk your machine to XBOX LIVE banhammer
