Hi guys, I am not that familiar with this Property though I always passed by it in the morning. I am curious on the entrance and exit point. So far I can only see the entrance around the Hubungan Timur-Barat Highway, is there any other entrance point beside that, like for example inside Salak Selatan town?

I think buyers of Midfields 2 in lowyat forum should get together and raise concern to YTL regarding issues that had plagued Midfield 1, like the lack of telephony infrastructure, etc.

QUOTE(maviko @ Apr 30 2014, 03:51 PM) Good news for all Midfields2 purchasers. I was reviewing the draft copy of the S&P agreement today and under the Fourth Schedule - Building Description, it was listed that there will be an internal telephone trunking and cabling to the units. So I guess YTL did take note of the earlier concerns of the lack of telecom infrastructure raised by Midfields1. Maviko, you piqued my interest when you said you reviewed the draft copy of the S&P, how did you get hold of it?

QUOTE(whitehairbin @ May 2 2014, 02:25 PM) SC is not panel bank, only 6 panel banks for the project. Ambank, UOB, Maybank, CIMB, Citi and RHB Cool, thanks? Do you know what is the advantage of using panel banks besides better rates? Doesn't exempt from lawyer fee, does it?

---Double post from Midfield 2 thread as some MF2 buyers dwell here only, sorry ---
Guys, I just got back from SPA signing.
AND I CAN CONFIRM that YTL doesn't intend to provide the necessary infrastructure for telephony and internet via TELEKOM after spoken to YTL and lawyer. This is really disappointing.
But they gave me the contact of Ms. Karen Tan (hhtan@ytl.com.my) who is their customer service manager in order to voice out concern. I am intending to write an email to her about the situation but I know this is rather useless if I am the only isolated case, I hope all the buyers can contribute in voicing your concern regarding this issue to YTL.
Or even write an official letter with multiple signatures from various buyers in order to put out a strong case with YTL.

QUOTE(confuzan @ May 12 2014, 02:30 PM) i have given some thought on this, but perhaps you guys can find a lawyer to give some advice as i am not sure whether i interpret the act correctly. it is the competition act 2010. by not providing infrastructure for fixed line services, and indirectly forcing us to use YES as de facto phone line and broadband services, they are effectively creating a monopoly, which is against the competition act. but then again, they could argue that we are given a choice to use other wireless solutions such as maxis, celcom, digi, etc. on the other hand, this does not apply to midfields 1 because the act only takes effect for any agreement after a certain date. (can't remember the exact date) just a suggestion though. again, i might be wrong. Thanks for your info.

QUOTE(pcwai2000 @ May 13 2014, 04:49 PM) Hi what is stated in S&P regarding telephony services? Clause 22 (1), it was mentioned that "the Vendor shall at its own cost and expense lay or cause to be laid internal telephone trunking and cabling." Further under Clause 22 (3), it was also mentioned that "The Purchaser may apply for telephone service and shall be liable for and shall pay the deposit for such service." Quite vague to be honest but at least it's clear, internally there are telephone trunking and cabling though not sure for what purposes.

Dear Midfields 1 owners, HBA had responded to me last night to concert all midfields 2 complaint into a joint effort and engage dialogue between YTL and kpkt. You can refer the details here. https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=68263947If you wish to join the effort, you should approach your JMB to contact me, perhaps we can discuss and see if it is appropriate to pursuit the matter together or separately. Thank you.

Hello all, regarding the internet and telephony issue as mentioned by cfa, the ministry has been convinced by YTL that they have obliged all the relevant house regulations.
YTL did provide Internet and Telephony services Via YES, that is compliance to requirements of SPA,
AND YTL is not stopping anyone to apply for connection via Telekom, only thing YTL is saying is that, they will not "assist" in applying Telekom to come in.
In my opinion YTL definitely has more valid ground than our complaint at this point.
Going against them based solely on SPA obligations and Housing Act only is pretty shaky ground as I am sure they had already figured this part out. Current housing act probably doesn't obligate developers to establish their infrastructures readily for every service providers to come in easily, just a blanket statement that there is requirement for telephony which YES can easily cater.
Chang is right about engaging dialogue with YTL but YTL is not willing to engage anything, YTL even refused to respond to us via email, I don't know what else to do beside maybe holding a banner in front of their office.
THE ONLY ROUTE left open is via complaining against YTL on MyCC, I've written to them but they did not respond to me at all.
Perhaps if you are interested to write to MyCC as well, you can use my template, PM me your email

No news to be honest. The two complainers registered on JPN's system didn't appeal that the complaint is yet to resolve. My complaint sent to MyCC had fallen into deaf ears
