How was their Midfields 1 (phase1) workmanship? Heard alots complaints and poor workmanship?
Anyone/any owner can confirm this? my friend interested to pay a visit there.
Regardless of YTL brand or wad, even mahsing n setia has poor workmanship at some development back then, Midfield 1 was told defects and very quiet as in low occupancy rate. thats why my friend not even interested to get the subsale after visit the Midfield 1.
Not sure if its true, is it that bad? from the exterior, it looks quite OKAY, and facing KLCC.
*
Very true, VERY VERY POOR workmanship. Wall cracking and water leaks into the wall. You can see putty filler and POLYSTYRENE near the wall and floor tiles. I'm a first hand witness. If don't believe can come over to my unit and witness yourself (before I fix the wall) vmad.gif vmad.gif

Bathroom floor senget one side causing water to be accumulated at the corner and won't go into the drain, etc. Many many problems.

Anyway, it's passed 5th of May. How's the UniFi petition going on? Did we achieve 300 sign ups?
*
We could have achieved the 300 target if EVERYONE actively help in this petition. Just do the maths, one floor has 8 units and we have an average of 20 floors for each block. If everyone can help a little by just signing a simple form, just 2 blocks are more than enough to fulfill the target

Mathematically yes in an ideal real world scenario based on the current occupancy rate. Unfortunately, not everyone thinks the same and some just could not be bothered.  shakehead.gif

Unfortunately, take those condos that are rented out as uni hostel for example, they ain't care bout unifi petition.

And, not all units are occupied.

I remember there is a paper with all committee's name and responsibilities sticking on the noticeboard in front of the carpark lift.
*
That's the problem. A lot of us want the UniFi but some don't even want to lift a finger to just fill in the form and keep wondering day and night why isn't anyone doing anything. The management even stick an announcement on the glass door of each block to "beg" us to reach the quota and yet... We have A1&2; B1&2; & C blocks with a total of 5 blocks. We just need 38% of the residents to fill in the petition form. cry.gif cry.gif

And yes the list is on the carpark 1st floor's notice board and also at the 9th floor. Somehow no one gave me feedback when I emailed suggestions to their midfields email address, feel like they're a bunch of sleeping committee. whistling.gif whistling.gif

1.Called management office this afternoon.
unifi connection is installing to Midfields, block A expected to be installed about Apr/May. Then follow by other blocks. Is this info correct? Any can verify?
Thanks for the info rclxms.gif rclxms.gif I thought initially it's gonna be installed by Jan and now Apr/May. This is a really stupid move from TM to earn money from all the potential customers.

Hi, does anyone notice that the smell being blown to Midfields from nearby sewerage area (Kuchai) is getting worst especially after rain or windy/ sunny day?

Im from block A2. Previously, its still bearable but now not anymore. What can management do about this? Any idea/ solution?
*
Nearby sewerage area? I'm in A2 and I smell nothing

I scare is water leaking from somewhere. Thats the headache part.
*
Most probably water leaking from outer wall. You need to get someone to look at the walls outside. Happen to my unit and I'm very very displeased with the quality. They are also using cheap wood which will disintegrate easily under damp condition. Try removing the wood and start digging into the wall, you will even find polystyrene and wet sand. I've lost faith in anything YTL build now, cutting cost at every corner.

Did you fix it urself? I went to the management they said they will contact their contractor to check the problem. If found is their problem they will fix it without i pay anything.
*
Sorry didn't notice the reply. Yes fixed it myself since I'm a tenant and the darn landlord don't wanna pay the darn cost + warranty for block A ady over. Lousy and low quality job by YTL, never trust them anymore.

Any specific date for the UniFi on July? It's almost July now and the wires aren't even connected to the box outside the house

Ok i just asked the contractor pulling the UniFi cables and he said that the project surely will not be done before Raya. It'll take about least2 to 3 months. Another hindrance is the YTL contract that hasn't ended. As long as the contract is still in effect, TM cannot "enter" the building

So any idea when YTL contract ends? in previous AGM we were informed that on July we can start pulling cable into each unit and enjoy tm unifi....
*
That sounds like bullshit to me after I've personally asked the TM contractor. Can't possibly finish before Raya. Either the UniFi agent/installer/whatever is selling crap like a professional or the TM contractor is not professional enough to estimate a correct timing. It's 1 July now and do you see the cables outside your door being connected? rclxub.gif At least those in my block aren't connected yet and judging by how "fast" they do things, July is most probably out of the picture.

cable outside connected d.

u talked to Alex? the contractor? he said this month should be in. dont talk to the cable guy or the workers lol.

if u notice, all the big cable whatsoever has been lay out. if u lives in block A, u can see there's big black cable above our walkway. thats for unifi.
*
wuszhtag, not the cables inside but the terminals outside. I talked to the supervisor in charge of laying the cables to the UniFi connection panel outside. Even if all the cables are ready in the building, it's useless if those outside aren't ready yet. If you noticed previously that after midnight, some contractors are doing some kind of construction along Midfields Square, they are the ones laying the cables outside which Alex has no control over it.
