Agree totally..the issue here is that some units are being turned into HOSTELS...so let us stop harping on the race issue which shud be totally irrelevant in
a modern and civilised society..

Let us be considerate and treat others how we would want to be treated..

Ref: Complaint - Hostel in Midfields

I am the owner of Unit No........ and would like to express my disagreement and unhappiness that some units that have been turned into hostel for students.

This is a fire hazard due to the number of students that will be cramped into the unit and on top of that would also create an environment not condusive for
residential living for others.

The JMB should come out with a resolution urgently banning owners from turning their units into hostels and also take action immediately to get owners
to terminate existing tenancy that violate this new regulation.

I may add that this would be a prudent measure to take before YTL launches its final development phase in Midfields.

get the info from management office - they should have the code number and supplier details..if its just a few tiles, speak to them nicely they

hi..the hostel issue is still pending though i must say that management tried their best to work within their constraints...firstly there were 8 units
that were converted to hostels with 10 students in each one..these students are malaysian indians from outstation.

The management has banned them from using the facilities and is also checking that they do not hang out their laundry on the balcony, or have shoes strewn all over in front of their door to avoid receiving further complaints from other residents

To really close down the hostel, the management said they need more owners writing in to complain and then what they do they forward the complaints to the relevant
gomen authority to "pressure" them to take action ..the more letters they received from owners, the stronger will be their case!

so you owners out there, get off the lazy chair and start writing ...if you want this problem solved once and for all..dont think it wont impact on you ya if you dont do anything - your property value will drop !

looks like an inside job..thieves renting a unit inside to break in when most are at work..
had that problem with one of my condos before...

these thieves move from one development to another..that is their modus operandi..

hse owners have to take the necessary precautions to secure their units and not rely totally on security as this is a high dense dev so
lapses in security will more likely to occur..

And accessory parcels have to be attached to a strata title which is the apartment unit itself.
That have always been the case....and well documented in the strata title act.

midfields owners

please get the petition form from management office to sign and attach a copy of the assessment notice
of last year + notification of increase so that the office can submit to DBKL to protest against the proposed
increase of rate of 53%.. Please do this asap.

Remember strength in numbers so EVERY owner must do their part !

this type of partition is common overseas and its called drywall ..for us its not that common so maybe not readily accepted.

We accept in building technology.
Generally - we easy to accept brick walls for our houses n accept partition walls for office use .
My other condo I hacked some walls n later replace new design n contractor put red wall bricks to replace new designs . Contractor gave me that value . You can hack n replace with red bricks if the foundation allow Loh ....

Need to suit our price paid n value given.
Maybe paying rm 500k for a house or condo we want to see concrete la ... To satisfy our price .

Buyers should know what price they paid n receive what for that.
Whether it's worth or not - yr own choice .

distance to city centre is relatively near and easily accessible..potential catalysts in sg besi
