I totally agree. Some drivers are just so inconsiderate in the way they parked their cars along the main road, blocking incoming/outgoing traffic.

Btw, more cars are clamped this morning. Seems the security guards are doing their jobs well.
*
On the way back today I realized...most of the cars have been cleared.
Clamping hard on those parking along Jalan Besi Kawi...

This carparks issues seems getting really hot...
Apparently it's was mentioned in earlier post that Jln Besi Kawi is handed over to JMB so it's under the management no longer under DBKL (likely possible due to the completion of the commercial) anyways this road is by YTL as it was constructed for the overall development....if that's true then they have all the right to clamp as they want.
Honestly I don't think they will dare to clamp if it's not handed over which is the case for the past few months.

I don't think the management is wrong anyhow or badly managed... if Jln Besi Kawi is already handed over to JMB. In fact I think it's a welcome move to clamp all the cars.
I mean everyone's want convenience people park in front of the guardhouse so u can enter to the condo easily but I also want convenience whenever I drive in and out of the condo. It's only a 2 lane road!! one lane already taken up as carparks den some even park the opposite...traffic stucked when there is a lorry or van trying to go through....effectively making it a one way street.
Let's be reasonable here...and fair to everyone staying. I don't think it's in anyway unfair....
And for 4 car? I doubt any condo units comes with 4 carparks unless it's penthouse units. U will definitely need to rent or purchase additional

stop giving stupid suggestion on this matter, fxxking agent!

the other fxxking agent~ Nowadays one family minimum need 3carparks la....stop bullshit here! fxxking agent!

landed property with  gated & guarded with RM3k close to kl city centre? people stayin at condo because we want minimum security..but you can see  most of condo in klang valley, people use to park their car outside the guardhouse as long as other cars can pass through...
It's crazy to drive up to 8A which is 12 floors up I think just shower n drive down again for dinner n when return do the same driving up car parks
(i know most of you are rich so can afford to buy extra carpark at lower floor ) (why spend extra penny to rent a carpark since there is space to park?)

look at those management staffs or guard, they dont even willing to park at higher floor...they are mostly parking at 1st floor

Bear in mind
*people risking their car being saman by dbkl or mbpj
*people risking their car being stolen
*
Stop being so rude to the other user here. ts1 & Asali have been very active in this forum for the longest time...have some respect and STOP calling both of them FXXKING AGENT. It just show immature you are and really it's a blessing that you are shifting out...

We don't need tenants that goes around with this kind of mentality...
"why spend extra penny to rent a carpark since there is space to park?"

If there is no longer any carpark then I can understand but not this kind of justification. It amazed me that we still have people going around expecting to do what is the most convenient to themselves and not care about the others having to put up with this kind of attitude.

So like what Asali suggested go for landed la...and bungalow to be precise since you got 4 cars...

Hhhmmm this 12 hours visitation hours is new to me. I think it's fine as long as when the rise needed to have more than 12 hours...application can be submitted to management for approval.
I think there is a lot of tenants that are parking at visitors carparks since the management started clamping Jln Besi Kawi hence the new ruling....

Indeed a relief to have a minimarket nearby.
Any idea whether they are planning to open one at the lobby area?Somewhere pool area maybe?
*
Yup 99 doped art...saw it from my unit. I don't think it's ready for operations yet but should be anytime soon.
Doubt there will be any mini market at the lobby area...they won't be able to survive consisting there is commercial lots just a few steps away...

Not too sure. but heard Block C parking will be at level 3 and 4. mostly la...
depends block and floor actually. before u buy that unit u have to check 1st lo.
*
It's distributed based on the price of the units sold by YTL. The more expensive the units the better the carparks lots and of the most premium lots are available for sale...
So if u wanna good carparks lots try going for units at the higher floors or bigger built-up. Maybe penthouses?

The main pool provide a very nice view but could be extremely noisy during public holidays and long weekends. Some how or the rather people staying here tend to invite their friends and relative alongside with all theirs kids to play in the pool. The pool is usually occupied frm morning till late evening.
So yea...it's noisy...especially during long holiday breaks...

QUOTE(lsfung @ Aug 13 2013, 03:07 PM)
I believe they are local Indians.
I agree with you, we should complain to management. we do not want Midfields become college hostel.
For those owner who rent out the unit, please consider about it.
not racist or what, we just want to have a comfort home...
*
Yup are think you are all right.
I witness it myself....
I was back the other day, i saw a bunch of them gathering outside the condo.
I was observing them two groups exactly...i calculated 15 person per-group.
They were waiting with their bags and pillow...and suddenly a car approached them in Block B drop-off.
2 indian guys came out...handed over a key and access card to a group of 15 girls towards Block B1 and another 15 girls to Block A (not sure A1 or A2).
After half an hour...about 6 indian girls fully clothes came down and went swimming in the main pool with all their clothing.
Subsequently the guard chase them away as they were not wearing proper swimming attire.

I don't mean to escalate it any further but this is getting too much....
Any idea how to go about it? If the units are converted to hostel I would like make the necessary complains to the management all stop all this nonsense.
Let figure it out together how to go about it...Thanks

Update :-
I've just called Midfields Management. It's true and they just found out. Apparently there is about 5 units that have been converted into the hostels. According to the management the units owners sign an tenancy agreement with some agents and the agents converted it to be rented out to the students. The management is trying to get hold of the agents but to no avail at the moment. Those owners are regretting this....
Lets all see if we can work out a solution for this....

I can't believe I am spending so much time looking into this unnecessary issues that is surfacing in Midfields condominium right now.
I need everyone that is staying here to approach the management and JMB as it's covered under the following DMC :-

Referring to your respective Deeds of Mutual Convenant
2. Restrictive Covenants
(1) (a) use the said parcel only for residential and dwelling purposes

So that's how we can approach it. Really getting on my nerves...

Having said all that it's important that our JMB see this through if not it won't work.
And I won't be able to do it alone so everyone take yur turn to approach the management and make yur own stand.
Worst come to worst bring it up during the coming AGM.
But we need everyone to make this work...

just called the management lodging complaint..heard that more units may be rented out as hostel.. and my friend just told me that MF is available in Agoda too  rclxub.gif
*
make sure everything is in black & white.
There will be a JMB meeting with the management this saturday. I strongly urge everyone if available to join in for your own good.
Let me confirm the time, date and venue.

As for the Agoda. Kindly find it as attached....Midfields Condominium is now known as Midfields Residency - Rate is USD 106 per-night.
This is strictly against the DMC.
Headache with all these owners and agents around....
What kind of nonsense is this now changing it to service apartments / hostel....

aiyo, with these new " strangers" entering as Hostel Tenants,
how about our barang2 and security going to be?
Better careful of our shoes put outside the door, and for those Ground Floor, when u hang your expensive pants, shoes, and clothes, how safe are them, with so many " strangers" joining MF as Hostel Guest or permanent strangers in Midfields. Drop std la...

i am more worry about security of our barang2....... and are children safe now, when so many "strangers" loitering around in our premises?
*
I have already forwarded my complains to management together with the picture attached.
They are currently working at it....
According to the management they will ban the agent who is responsible for the hostel conversion and is checking which units involved in Agoda.
Apparently some owner did consult with the management if they can actually do that in Agoda last year for Block A and were told off. But now some others came about it doing without their consent. (having said it's against the DMC - usage for residential dwelling only)
They are supposed to meet up with the agents today at 11am.
Residents have also filed complains about the students using the common facilities in hordes and fully clothes swimming in the pool.
Guards will be allocated in common areas in rounds to make sure that doesn't happen anymore.
It won't be good enough for me, i want to make sure that their tenancy is terminated.
Like i mentioned in my previous post, we need everyone to file complain towards the management.
It would be fruitless if only a few individuals do so.
So file your complains respectively.
The management is currently quite stressed out with the continuous complains from the residents.
Do your part and pray for the best...and work together and sort this crap out. smile.gif

Agent 0189111350 pohling0203@gmail.com;contacted me last month regarding this batch of indian students.  tenancy will be sign with a company and these are the documents she sent.

when i ask further what's the college name and it's just a 2 dollar company, authorization letter not signed and the person assigned to sign tenancy agreement is a young kid, she said she'll get back to me. after a few days, she has no answer and didn't pick up my call.

i can't believe there are owners who are willing to rent out their units just with the documents i see... or maybe they have more than what i have?

[attachmentid=3583118][attachmentid=3583121][attachmentid=3583123][attachmentid=3583125][attachmentid=3583126][attachmentid=3583128][attachmentid=3583129][attachmentid=3583130][attachmentid=3583131][attachmentid=3583132]

please use the documents shall any of u decided to lodge a report against the agent and the company.

So it's this agent...interesting.
Any idea which real estate agency is she from?

Haven't been following up with the Astro HD and Fibre Internet issues as I am more worried about the hostel conversion for student and units being rented out as hotel.

Those two I can live without but not when the entire condo it's being hoarded by students and strangers....

As of now it was mentioned that the hotel have been given a deadline up to 31 Aug to relocate their students...let's see how it goes from here.

Having said that, the management is doing a great job by stopping them hoarding the entire common areas...as u might noticed they are no longing using the pool and etc.

Lets hope for a better from them...

We can make amendments to the existing DMC during the upcoming AGM.
Make the conditions tighter and easier for the management take legal actions against the owners...
I hate this situation but it's gonna be a long hard fight along the way. But let's do during the upcoming AGM

If you look at the DMC now it's stated for residential and dwelling usage we can add in additional clauses into the DMC and state clearly that the parcel cannot be used for hostel/hotel and or any public accommodation and define the meaning of hostel as detail as possible. So it's going be very clear and the management can proceed with legal action not worrying it backfire...

All we need is majority to vote for the amendments in the coming AGM. I was suggesting to call for an EGM to address this but since AGM is just around the corner den fine...just make sure everyone is there and vote with the changes.

Will keep everyone updated on the date for the AGM

Hey all...let's not get overly heated...
I think everyone knows it's about the hostel issue here as this was brought up a month ago and is still an ongoing issue.
So stop being overly sensitive la...c'mon we are after all neighbors here directly or indirectly. No one meant any harm here....
