Are Kai Unifi and the TM agent in Block A the same people?

I don't think so. Please go to Block A instead to avoid double records. We should go to MF contracted agent only.

Also, a sidenote, apparently those who signed up for 5mbps will need to change their package because by the time it starts the installation in Nov, TM no longer offers such package.

I do want to change my package either way it's just that if Kai Unifi and the TM agent in Block A are the same I could get it done without ever visiting Block A. Not trying to create double records.

I highly doubt Kai is the contracted MF unifi agent (no offences). wuszhtag manage to do it mainly because he/she already has unifi installed. But those who yet to have unifi should go through the proper channel, which is in Block A. That's my understanding.

guys, the MF Unifi Agent in block A is Alex.

before installation, i did asked for package upgrade from 5 to 30 however he said if he change the package, he will NEED to cancel my 5mbps order and place a new 30mbps order which will take another 1 week to complete. This is what he told me.

Alex also told me that if we subscribe tot he 5mbps then we can keep the package and no need for package change.

so i proceed with 5mbps installation. silky smooth.

then i went to him back for the package upgrade and he asked me to go TM point. Since my schedule quite tight i cant make it thus im lurking around here looking for agent.

Found Kai and i whatsapp him directly, everything was smooth and easy after that. My package got upgraded within 2 days.

Hi wuszhtag, thanks for the clarification. It makes perfect sense now.
Yup, I guess you can go for other agent once it's installed, but not before the installation.

btw, wuszhtag, love the 30mbps so far? smile.gif

OK so I can skip visiting Alex at Block A, wait till Unifi is installed and then upgrade to 30 Mbps. Got it thanks.

Good morning. biggrin.gif

I agree that those who've applied in Block A and waiting for their applications to be processed should remain their applications with Mr Alex to avoid double records.

However for those haven't applied or wish to upgrade from their old packages, I believe they have the right to choose which agent to go for.

I would like to clarify that I have no intention to steal Mr Alex's existing customers. I only wish that we agents could compete fairly. Cheers mate!! biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

hi wuszhtag, please watch out your monthly bill from TM. Some of the residents were over charged in the bill due to the change of package.

Checked with Alex, he advised not to make changes until 2 weeks later.

Hi Kai,
I'm one of the residents here.
If you offer yourself to assist for setting on the infra 1-2 years ago, I will be the first one to sign up with you as we are indeed of broadband services badly.
However, when we approached the agents from TM, Maxis, Time n etc, all of them just told us off because there is no infra and they are not willing to invest time & effort.

Seriously i do not like Alex's attitude as he can be impolite. However, I have to respect him that only him & his partners are willing to help us where we need one.
We have been waiting for long but finally he has made our wish comes thru.
With that, i think he deserve to take our case and make the $$.

It believe this is considered fair to him.

If you really want to come into this territory, you should respect him and ask for his permission instead of undercut him and 'steal' his customers here.

Sorry if i have offended you but i just want to share my view on this matter.

rclxms.gif Well said, MyKi.

Anyway, went to the booth in Block A. Got to know that Block C installation will commence on 10 Nov, Block B has to wait just a little bit more.

For Block B & C peeps, If you subscribed for 5mbps, you will need to change the package because it's an old package and it'll be no longer available after 31 Oct. For those who emailed/phoned/text Alex to change the package previously, please go and check your subscription and details again because I asked for package upgrade via email few weeks ago, but ended up it did not get updated.

Thanks MyKi for speaking out the hearts of the residents.

Getting Unifi into Midfields was really a challenging experience with many parties working hard in the background to make it a reality it is today.

Honestly, I do not like Alex too, as I find him arrogant and boastful. But credit should be given to him for his part and $$ investment in setting up our fibre infrastructure from scratch and pulling strings with TM in approving a budget for FTTH HSBB in our condo.

Hope fellow residents on Unifi are now enjoying the service after years of waiting. Touchwood, its been pretty stable and fast so far!

Cheers..
