i am sure you guys saw (or will see) a new notice posted on the glass door of your block regarding the new gates at guard house 2, due to recent security issue.

coincidently, my neighbour told me that 2 sundays ago, 2 dark skinned guys, aged about 30+ were at my door looking suspiciously and studying my door locks.  i was not at home at that time. quick thinking neighbour confronted them and said he'll call the security to check, and they left. later at the lobby he saw there was a 3rd guy together with them.

security is now a MAJOR concern in midfields.

i urge owners or tenants reading this post, to send an email to midfields@yes.my , urgent attention to JMB to organize a resident dialogue/meeting on a regular basis (minimum once every quarter) to discuss issues happening with our condo.

right now i guess we are all in the dark on what the JMB is doing (or doing anything at all) to deal with issues like security, unifi, landscaping, etc. in my previous condo the JMB have it every month, and it is very beneficial as the meeting minutes are all noted down and posted at the bulletin board as a way to update residents on the progress or any outstanding issues.

Closing the 2nd guardhouse and blame everything that happened to midfields at the 2nd guaradhouse is too rush a decision.  Crime is happending everywhere. 

I and other residents still prefer to walk through the 2nd guardhouse to my mini mart and makan at the shops.

May i know when will the land tenure expired for both Midfields condo?

Today about 10 plus fire alarm was trigger and bomba and police came at block b2,

I was told that it could be drug bust and there 50 boxes  cling rap boxes.... and one Indian came and take one box away befofe the police and bomba came

Further mor3 2 pillar rider was spot by police and the 2nd entrance of the making a u turn when seeing the police and bomba

Saw a notice regarding the Unifi roadshow at Midfields. Is it confirmed that Unifi can be installed?  Or just another round of demand survey? Anyway, hopefully a lot of people will attend

It's in front of Block A1 lobby.

We did complain. Got a letter from YTL saying will repaint after 2014 cny. Until now not yet paint.

Last week the counter was at Block A. This week should be at Block B as according to the notice.
So how many will go and register especially from Block B?

Yup that's right. The roadshow has 3 purpose:
1. As an awareness campaign for Midfields residents to know about the availability of Unifi in the condo.
2. To create demand and residents to fill in the forms and meet the target numbers by TM (estimated 400-450).
3. For residents who have previously filled the forms in management office to check/edit their details.

Negotiations are already in the final stages and once we meet the target numbers, then the installation cost can be significantly lower to get Unifi implemented as there will be a subsidy from TM.

If we don't meet the target, Unifi will still be installed by year end, but at a higher cost per subscriber (not sure how much yet). And as you mentioned earlier, to manage it from a cost perspective, there is a high possibility that TM will provide the exact ports for the interested subscribers only and perform the internal fibre cabling to those units. Resident/Tenants who don't subscribe now but decide to do so in the future will have to go thru this whole process from the start without any guarantee.

hey guys, Unifi registration is currently in Block B.

Even if you've already registered your interest in the management office, you need to go to the booth to ensure your unit is ticked as registered.

Previously, I have submitted two forms to the management office but it wasn't registered also. Luckily I checked!

So, do check for your unifi rego status.

Hi, anyone willing to share their experience purchasing additional carpark from YTL?

1. What are the extra charges aside from the car park price? and how much?
2. Do we need to appoint a lawyer for the transaction?
3. What is the process like? and how long it takes?

so any latest updates after the three weeks roadshow? do we know how many sign up in the end?

Just checked with the Midfields management office on the latest update for Unifi and they say that they are still in the midst of calculating the cost. Unifi may be available earliest next year but they did not specifically say when. I guess this issue will continue to drag on for quite awhile more.

Anyway, kudos to those who have made the initiative to make this thing happen. Lets hope more and more Midfields residents get on board with this.

I was so exciting can have unifi by end of yr... =/ as the roadshop the agent mentioned no mattr high cost or low cost for sure unifi to be installed by end of 2014.... seems like need to wait longer.... so upset...

im moving in to midfields condo next week. ive been told that we can only use YES 4g internet line there. can anyone please enlighten me in this matter, should i cancel my existing UNIFI account?
