Yea it's just outside the coverage area for P1 from their webpage.
So in terms of availability it's still YES or Maxis. If Maxis is stable it's definitely a much more cost effective solution than YES. Freaking expensive.... |

QUOTE(tonyhou10 @ Feb 28 2013, 10:31 PM) No. Just bought the same unit at RM468k come with 2 car park (not RM467K typo error). Facing the shoplot and side view is the swimming pool. Previously got 1 unit facing car park selling at RM460k but my gf dun like the view and I heard from the agent the unit is sold. Hi I got a fren that bought a unit at B2 facing the shoplot with 1 carpark at 432k about 6 months ago before VP. Considering it was transacted 6 months ago and it comes with 2 carparks I think it's quite alrite....an additional carpark at lvl 8 will cost u bout 15k. By the way for those already moved in, can the lorry drive all the way to block b when I move my furniture over? TQ It's going up as time progress...well I m curious how far can the price reach especially after the completion of Midfields Square n the launch of Midfields 2. |

Honestly the workmanship is crap! To be fair they completed my list of defects but took a good 2 months while my sister in law unit is still half completed. If there is any consolation for me it's my personal ID fella that have assured me to tidy up all the loose end.
I have no problem about the management and security being strict. In fact they should clamp all those cars parking at the wrong places. It's damn irritating when you are there and realized your spot is occupied by someone else. I mean seriously what's the issue parking at your own parking lot la...not enough? Rent from the management la...if not buy one. On the same matter, those car parking along the main road leading to the entrance...are they residents? Or agents/contractors? Could we write to inform the management to make a formal complain to DBKL? I finding it quite a nuisance and it's just plain irresponsible when there is still parking available for rent. There is parking for rent rite? I mean if it's full then I could understand not when there are still plenty of carparks available for rental.... |

QUOTE(cruger12345 @ Mar 16 2013, 05:01 PM) Just my personnel opinion which you don't have to agree. If I am the agent I will like to play the price down. Lower price easier to sell. A commission of 3% of 450k or 480k doesnt make much diffrent. So a bit lower price but could sell more and close the deal faster. Hence when someone said the agent play the price up in any property. I won't believe that. It is the owner want higher price not agent Hahaha Agreed!!I think sometimes it's just people are paranoid about not getting the best deals out there. Unless the owner had a prior agreement with the agents that there is an agreed price that the agent must sell....anything higher goes to the agent. There is just so many of them... btw I am curios have there be any break-in before? The security are good but due to the large amount of renovation progress it could be hard to keep an eye of all the workers. So am I wondering if there was any break-in....thx This post has been edited by Ganny82: Mar 17 2013, 03:06 AM |

QUOTE(goh @ Mar 24 2013, 12:16 PM) You are talking about my rented house here which was broken into. I had already made a police report. They stole around RM30,000 worth of goods. And you are right, 2 lap top missing, 1 ipad, expensive watches and jewellery all gone! If you rob me now, I have nothing. Hi Goh...so sorry to hear what happened to your unit. I am sure you are extremely frustrated over about it. I overheard it from one of the ID designers that some units was being broken to via the toilet windows. Anyways appreciate for enlightening us on your thoughts about the security matters here...very helpful. Thanks once again!Just to give you advice when you buy a house here, the window quality is no good especially at the toilet because it cannot be closed properly. I just moved in, how to get it fix it so soon? You will only know more defects when you actually move in. Unfortunately, the developer does not take the trouble to check and fix all. Only depend on us reporting it. If we don't report, the developer escape and say it's our issue. Midfields contractor also take so long to respond to fix defects? If the security is good, the guards would check people come in and out. When i just moved in, security access card door also tak ada. Said want to fix but didn't. Only fixed it 1 day after I report the burglary! Let me tell you other security problems here. If you are a robber, welcome you to rob.. very easy:- 1. Security guard will conveniently go "missing" at 2 fixed time of the day, around 7.am to 8.30am. ... good time for burglar to come. Another good time to steal is around 6pm to 7pm. 2. Security guard at the guard house only does random check. they don't check all people. 3. CCTV only installed in the lobby facing the lift. They claim they have lift CCTV but not sure where it is or just install after the robbery. There is NO CCTV at the emergency stairway entrance.. if you want to rob, i suggest you use this way out. 4. There are contractors doing business at the lower floor, and their door is always open, if you want to rob others, you can steal small valuable things like gold or jewellery, keep in your bag and walk through this contractors "office". You can surely bypass CCTV or security. So far, no action taken to check. Please try to rob and then escape through here. 5. Only 1 security guard per 2 blocks, so even now if the security access card system is in place, many people leave the door open. The guard don't care to help close. So if you want to rob, just wait for the right time. easy. 6. My neighbour upstairs got robbed also, proof of easy robbery and proof that is not totally the owner fault. I'm sure there are more swept under the carpet. 7. On 1 side of the condo block, they did not install common grill to prevent robbery. All other sides have. This might be due to the developer wanting to save cost at our expense. they say YTL good quality, good meh? |

Hi I know we have discussed about this before but I would like to confirm it before finalizing my purchase. I m planning to shift in soon and is still largely undecided on which wireless broadband service to subscribe. YES I know is fast but costly...while Maxis is quite an affordable alternative. Any improvement on Maxis broadband lately? Is it good enough for normal surfing? Will appreciate the latest feedback on Maxis broadband service in Midfields....thanks!

QUOTE(cruger12345 @ Apr 7 2013, 07:35 PM) Same here. And I dun see any problem to change to using centralised gas. It is safer and convenience . YTL is really hopeless wan Block B centralized gas still not ready....really tulan wan sometimes talking to the management. Handover condo but this n that not ready....if I m not mistaken we can bring this issues up in housing tribunal wan ask for late delivery charges since centralized gas system is stated inside the SPA and should be completed when they handover. |

QUOTE(ts1 @ May 23 2013, 11:27 AM) Yup it comes with quota also.I took the RM 139 monthly (post-paid customers at RM 129) 28G - 7G (during peak) & 21G (after peak) Honestly the after peak is quite useless la... if u reached your quota it will still be workable but at a controlled speed which is the same as YES post-paid.... Heard P1 in Midfields is really slow...issit true? |

I've been staying here for bout over a month now and before shifting in there is a lot of positive and negative comments on Midfields. Here's my feedback on this place :
Positives : 1) Great location easily accessible to town or MV, PJ and the rest of the areas 2) Security is quite strict...a 'NO' is a 'NO' 3) The facilities and landscape around is actually quite well done up and is very visually pleasing 4) The management somehow sorted out the mini flooding that occurred last time around. During the last few heavy downpour there is no more flooding towards the pool 5) Knowing that Midfields square is going to be handed over soon providing more options just around the corner 6) A good mixture of races and diff communities but largely occupied by families and young working couples 7) The cleaning service seems quite reliable as my refuge room and corridors are being cleaned and emptied on a daily basis Negatives : 1) It's still noisy at the meantime...ongoing renovation throughout Block B and the soon to be launch Midfields 2. Anyhow the good part about this is the prices in Midfields will largely benefit with the new launch, completion of Midfields Square and maturity of the area couple of years down 2) Accessibility back to Midfields. To get out to anywhere is really easy but to get back is not...u have to make a u-turn back 3) Kids!! As a large portion of occupants are family expects massive noise from kids during the evening especially if your unit is facing the main pool. 4) Centralized gas system. Sound good...but the charges for usage is crazy. Better off with the cylinder gas. Anyways that centralized gas is not available for Block B & C yet only for Block A 5) YES Broadband. Yes no option of wired Internet as YTL prefer to milk us dry with their super fast 4G Yes. As such I decided to use Maxis wireless instead. No infra for fiber optic as well...so yea...this sucks! 6) Workmanship for the units. I dunno how this turn out so bad probably they spend too much of the common areas and landscape? The units are horrible...uneven floor, doors & ceiling. Hopeless Haier aircon unit that required to be rectified twice since I moved in. The same floor level for the bathrooms towards the bedrooms. Seriously the workmanship is quite crappy for a reputable developer like YTL 7) Paint job...the facade doesn't look as new as it's supposed to be. It's been hardly a year since handover but the paint job seem to wear quite fast Overall i am quite happy despite some obvious negativity but as my wife mentioned 'What do u expect la when we bought it at less than 300k?' I smile and true enough as 3 years ago I just started my job and it did not turn out too bad of a purchase.... Looking forward for YTL's next offering in Midfield 2 This post has been edited by Ganny82: May 30 2013, 12:02 AM |

QUOTE(ts1 @ Jun 15 2013, 10:08 AM) But we may need to give them some space to park also..since some of them got few cars! behind there actually plenty of carpark Actually I don't mind if they park properly but some of them damn irresponsible wan. Corner there also park wanna turn out also can't see any cars...Those that got a few cars make some effort to look for rental carparks or buy from management. I did the same for my second car... |
