I just buy the play and charge kit (4100ma) and charge it fully but it seams can last only for 2 hours only(assume that the led on the cable turn from red to green is fully charge right?)
Is it normal or the battery is faulty.

er is that even original play & charge kit? if its original 1 full charge might take 5-6hour, then it would last like 25hours of gaming.
not really sure about yrs, u need to know if yrs is original or those 3rd party battery. if it only lasted 2 hour, u better get energyser battery that could last u atleast 25hours ?

Getting Started

|
Not sure if your's is new or not. I also got one new from shop. Play & charge for a few cycle without problem, working as expected.
I have to stop playing games last month due to exam, so I notice that the battery still got 3 bars before I stop. I've even pulled out the battery from controller.
But 2 weeks after that, the battery is running out of power and cannot turn on controller anymore. I turn on xbox to check again, there is only 1 bar left, so I try to charge it. A few seconds later, the light turns to green and the battery status jump from 1 bar to 3 bars. I tried to disconnect the power line, but the battery is obviously not charged.
I have to pull the power, pull the battery, plug it into controller and charge again. It will turn to green quickly, but just repeat this a few time and finally it allows me to charge it all the way to full bars and the battery is working again.
So, NEVER leave your battery idle for a few weeks, maybe you can charge it fully before doing do.

i would suggest getting rechargable AA batteries rather than the kit first in my opinion more options, uses and lifetime anyways ive heard much about the faulty recharge kits out there
