Add to what philightsophy had said. I read that the T20C2 can be a thrower with SMO??
*
The T20C2 MK1 has more throw compared to T20C2 MK2, if both used LOP. Currently I do not have any T20C2 MK2 SMO, so I am not sure not the beam will be. I will get these modules in late March when I make my next order, which hopefully should include the PN-series. I am hoping a throwing beam with little artifacts from XP-G+SMO combo biggrin.gif

The modules for T20C2 MK2 are priced at RM95 (Cool White, XP-G R5), RM85 (Neutral White, XP-E Q4).
The modules for P20C2/P20A2 MK2 are priced at RM100 (Cool White, XP-G R5), RM90 (Neutral White, XP-E Q4).
Yup, the P20 MK2 modules are slightly more expensive, and I am just following the pricelist smile.gif

Regarding the tint, it's for your eyes to check smile.gif
FYI, ET actually paid CREE to filter the whitest tint out of the 8 possible tints from a bin. Variation may still happen until production methods have improved smile.gif

Oh, Ok, I like the P20C2 (as I asked before, sometimes last year, when it just released), I will love to have the RGB kits as well, the T20C2 RGB kits are superb in quality.

I learn that it has the choice of Protrude tail or tail stand , can we choose ?

LED type, R5 seems very bright, but still prefer the Neutral White of EagleTac, the Q4 is very bright I guess, how you think?

Can the T20C2 MK2 modules fit into the T20C2 I bought from you? (is it called T20C2 MK I, sorry, confused me in this)

Hi susuman,

The MKII lights has a protruding tailswitch, but a tailstanding rubber boot is included so you can choose whichever tail-end you want smile.gif
Unfortunately, do the the redesign to the threads and the head, the MK2 modules won't fit into the MK1 models sweat.gif

About the EagleTac UI = http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?t=263213

From his review, it is super confusing rclxub.gif rclxub.gif . He should try a simpler explanation. Here's what I understand.

It uses a forward clicky tailcap switch. Twist the Bezel tight and loose to toggle between modes. We all know this but it introduces a new quick access to Strobe.

Bezel tightened:
1) Click to switch on (full press) activates the Max mode. Click to switch off and on immediately after, activate the Strobe. On and off quickly again to go back to Max mode. You can also do this with momentary half press on and off, same behavior. Switching off at any modes more than 2 seconds brings you back to Max mode the next time you switch on. No memory.
2) To disable the Strobe function twist tight and loose 15 times within 10 seconds. Once disabled, switching on and off quickly would not activate the strobe anymore. You'll just have the Max mode only. To re-enable it, just repeat the same steps.

Bezel loosen:
1) Click to switch on (full press or momentary, same behavior) activate Medium mode.
2) To switch modes, just twist tight and loose quickly you'll get Low mode. Tight and loose again, you get Strobe, tight and loose again you get beacon. By repeating this, you continue to cycle through Medium, Low, Strobe and Beacon. Switch off the light at any modes more than 2 seconds brings you back to Medium the next time you switch on. No memory. This way you can avoid the flashing modes totally.

Understand better?

While I haven't try to enable or disable the Strobe by doing the head twists mentioned above, there is a far easier and less complicated way that is mentioned in the manual. Makes me wonder if the reviewer read the manual hmm.gif brows.gif
Just turn ON and OFF the light for 15 times within 10 secs. You can do this with half-presses too, which makes it easy. I will show you guys once we meet up on March 6th (yes, I have confirmed my trip smile.gif )

Ok i just emailed an order for 1x P20C2 to Philightsophy  icon_question.gif

Btw, Philightsophy, on your website the P20C2 page top right description got some typo biggrin.gif

"Uses two CR123 or RCR123, or one 17670 (not the 18650) Li-Ion cell with button top."

Oh, that's right haha! Thanks for the heads-up smile.gif thumbup.gif

Hi guys,

I am finalizing my order from Lumens Factory. If there are any orders you would like to add, let me know smile.gif
By the way, there's a Version 2 of the P7 M head and I will be getting a few units. The upgrades are:

1) More throw due to redesigned reflector
2) Improved driver which is more stable and efficient
3) Able to be used on C/P/Z Surefire lights with the C-to-M adaptor
4) Improved surface finish of the anodizing

Thank you smile.gif

Hi jwyj,
The price is the same as the V1, RM360.

Hi Striderman,
Unfortunately, there's no trade-in available. As a compromise, I can sell the V2 to you at a discounted rate.
I was surprised at the announcement from LF too, and I was not told earlier on that there will be an update the the P7 head until recently.

Philightsophy, any idea if V2 looks the same externally in design as V1 besides the changes you mentioned.

Hi alantch,
There are no physical changes in terms of looks compared to V1. I have confirmation from LF regarding this.
Thanks smile.gif

Philight, from the pictures at the bottom here http://www.light-reviews.com/eagletac_p20c2/

the tail-stand is a separate tail cap, so is the P20C2 package comes with 2 tailcap? or 2 tailcap rubber boot?
Hows the Neutral White in the P20C2, nice?? brows.gif
Hey, make sure your next order from EagleTac include the P20C2 RGBKit, for me!! brows.gif
Hi susuman,
It will come with a protruding tailcap and a attachable rubber boot to enable tailstanding if needed. There is no separate tail-standing tailcap anymore smile.gif
Unfortunately I don't have the NW tints yet, have to wait will early March (I am hoping smile.gif )
Thanks for your pre-order smile.gif
