btw, strinq, parcel from oversea suddenly from mid of last month, all slow down. Items from HK need 20 days to arrive (Just received a solarforce L2, order on behalf for my colleague), this this because items before mid of last month arrive in normal time, HK about 1 week, US 2 weeks, now all my items are delayed. Christmas??? rclxub.gif  cry.gif

Wah!!

My new toy is CRAZY [QUALITY*ehem*] LUMENS MONSTER!! Now I feel my Eagletac has not enough lumens (~250 OTF).

Too bad I spoiled the body. Will post it up later when I've finished working on it. (My lights must be special. Lol.)

Thanks to everyone who helped me with it!! (Dannie, Gwen, Kah Wai, Yap & Bloke Gear)

And collection later after I'm done with them. Teehee!

haha... i think your D-Mini VX Ultra SST-50 will be no match to his new toy... it can B-U-R-N ... yea... literally... when couple with the correct lens... whistling.gif

but if there is a D-Mini VX Super Ultra SST-90 High CRI, then that will be a whole different story... rclxub.gif

Oh, btw, received my new MC10 (blue) replaced by the SG supplier from my faulty unit. Very good service and arrangement I'd say thumbup.gif

The Fenix MC10 itself is a good tool, adjustable head from 90 - 160 degrees. Feels solid, outer part of body feels like good quality plastic, but internal battery holder is alu. The beam is exceptionally smooth. Flood type light similar to the Quark XPEs. The LED type is an (i think it should be) OSRAM LUW W5AM-LXLY-6P7R.

But one thing I hate most is the switch. The UI is not too bad, like the TK40's, but the switch is like some retarded miniature M&Ms which got lost and became a MC10 switch! grumble.gif It also has very small parisitic drain (0.033mA), which is not too bad.

Will I recommend this light? No. But currently, there are not much offering in tilting LED lights, especially with a smooth bright beam. What can I say, if you don't need a light bending tool, there are tons of better options.

Agreed. If it actually has a 'click' it's still not too bad but it's not a 'friendly' switch.
Gotta press hard and sometimes ur not even sure if ur pressing it because there's no tactile feedback.
But other than that i really like it now. very comfortable to hold, and i can imagine it being very versatile when camping or working with both hands, way better than a normal flashlight.
