Oh, btw, received my new MC10 (blue) replaced by the SG supplier from my faulty unit. Very good service and arrangement I'd say
The Fenix MC10 itself is a good tool, adjustable head from 90 - 160 degrees. Feels solid, outer part of body feels like good quality plastic, but internal battery holder is alu. The beam is exceptionally smooth. Flood type light similar to the Quark XPEs. The LED type is an (i think it should be) OSRAM LUW W5AM-LXLY-6P7R.
But one thing I hate most is the switch. The UI is not too bad, like the TK40's,
but the switch is like some retarded miniature M&Ms which got lost and became a MC10 switch!
It also has very small parisitic drain (0.033mA), which is not too bad.
Will I recommend this light? No. But currently, there are not much offering in tilting LED lights, especially with a smooth bright beam. What can I say, if you don't need a light bending tool, there are tons of better options.
