If you are planning to look and play with SF lights, go to Ampang Point shopping centre.. Well it's pretty far from PJ.

He is a friend of mine and he carries the full range of SF lights. From the G2 to the 10X Dominator. I bought mine from him.

BTW guys, I updated my sig to sell my 6PDL.. Im willing to put the price low as most of u told me that u can get new ones for RM300? Mine is slightly scratched..

Enjoying playing with my M6P7!! woo.. When is our next gathering? At least now I can bring something worthy to be seen.. haha

there is an option for fast mail, registered i think..i did some reading and many users say go for thicker ones coz the break easy..
quite nice these lens..abit harder to clean, the coating is like anti-glare..i bought the boro-float for the Tri P7..do u think it an over kill?does it get that hot?

I think a must for Maglite, those plastic lens are harder to maintain, the ucl now is on my LF and LF lens is on maglite...

I canoe remote Alaskan rivers each fall, fly fishing for various species. This past September we floated the Goodnews River in Southwest Alaska. I did use the LF P7 for the same thing aa few nights ago..some cats making noise out side..flashed it with the LF P7..thought i could blind it or scare it....nothing happen, just stared straight at the led, but its eye did glow like i've never seen. Dont know perhaps cats immune

I think if you write how you scare mosquito is a better bet...dont play2 mosquito no1 killer...bears are not even close

Imagine a mosquito stop dead in its fly path when you shine the M6...that will get them thinking

Forget about plastic lens. I used Borosilicate lens for both my Mag mod. UCL lens better for light transmission but very fragile. Can break easily. Tri P7 does gets hot but heat transfer to heat sink and not lens unlike incandescent bulb.

Maybe I will say nyamuk instead.. Maybe those Ang Mohs may think that nyamuks are some giant animal... Sharp beak and round bloody eyes?

I thought Philightsophy has a few spare LFP7, i did hear that this maybe the last few batch..dont know. well I'm slowly collecting parts for maglite..hipflex sounds like a good driver

hipflex is a good driver. Nah, I wait for the SST-50/90 head. I wanted that P7 head badly few months back but no stock. Tri P7 is better

How many cell Mag will you use for your upcoming mod?

i think i will make use of all 18650 i have 4 of them...this will be my search light when i go cycling...i will do more research on various 3xp7, want sth with more throw...i'm keen on like the one you have but i'm looking at others too...why dont you send me a beam shot..

this is the beam shot you ask for 3 feet from wall, 4 feet elevation and 1 feet between each blue don on the wall..i took this as close to the real thing as i can, so its grainy..

Boro is overkill for LED. It gets hot but doesn't shoot the heat out like incans. LED's get hot at the source and the heat is sinked to the body.


Bright lights don't work on cats. It seems their eyes adjust too fast. But if it's really bright and throwy, it will affect them slightly. They'll turn their head away if it's close enough. I won't recommend using it on tigers and lions, lol.
It works on dogs though. They shut up instantly on a full powered blast.
