These came in today from H22A CPF. Heatsink for Maglite D cell P7. Gathering up ingredients. Perfect fit on silver Mad 2D, was a little tight on my black Maglite.

Strinq, it looks like the newer batch of MC10 is using Cree XPE LED. Or is it a mix? LOL what's going on wit Fenix, how can they sell a different LED in the same product? Can you remember if your LED is XPE or Osram? I may think the XPE has higher output.

Considering many things...maglite 1d is already half the price of the host and thats without the battery holder...get elephant 2 A Option without the head..use maglite head and switch...

Mag 1D is indeed cheaper to mod than buying the Elephant 2. It comes complete instead of the Elephant 2.

hmm...yes i would agree if basic maglite cut to 1d only, but if made to elephant 2 host spec?
