The moddoo dropin is phenominal! It's a bit like my LD10 but on super steroids. Can't wait to see how the triple X-PG performs!! Lightjunk! How is it?
BTW the thing is so pretty!
Moddoo Triple R2____________560__turn-on____________2X18650 IMR________________,
Moddoo Triple R2____________530__warm 60 sec,_______2X18650 IMR_______________,

Hmm but this seems to be a different dropin? Hmmm..
@Strinq: Welcome! Sorry I totally forgot about it. Cos I didn't bring my laptop charger back so was trying to conserve batts. =D Thanks to Rachel (correct right?) too! It's time to get her some customs to feed the flashaholism. It might just work. Try something from Photonfanatic. =D
OMG check out the triple X-PG DD drop-in.

"The light beam from the front of the unit is so intense that it will cause skin burns at close range.
It will cause paper to smoke.
It will cause damage to any surface that it may be set face down onto.

If any user is not familiar with any of the terms used to describe the operation or warnings for this product, PLEASE RESEARCH THESE THINGS BEFORE PURCHASING.

Thank You"

Hi polkiuj,

I have not received the triple X_PG sad.gif . I have the triple R2 with double SOB1100 drivers 4-16V capabilities which I bought from bigchelis of CPF smile.gif . This is the same one he asked MrGman to test in the sphere. That reading you copied above is the one that mine gave out nod.gif . It's very bright and I'm powering it with 2 IMR26500 in a FM 2C.

Finally! The MiNi CR2!

Alas.. The offer is not good for us here in Malaysia so it's bad for us.. =(

What a waste.. =( This could have been the ultimate cheap necklace light..

Good Morning Guys.
I like the look of that MiNi CR2. I don't get what you meant by "the offer is not good for us". Expensive or no demand?

Regret to inform you that I've not received the triple XP-G and the host. It's almost a month now and I think it is missing or lost cry.gif $330 worth. Damn Postal service. This is the 5th time my item got lost. Twice when using USPS Priority Mail.

hey, is USPS priority mail trackable?
*
Nope. Only in the U.S. Once item left U.S, it's up to your luck whether you'll get it or not. USPS EMS can be tracked till your door step but expensive.

I've been using the USPS EMS all this while because I don't trust our P.ostal Service. Imagine 1/3 of my item from U.S. will get missing if I use USPS First Class Mail. I've lost FM2C, Nite's 16340 body, not to mention non-flashlight related things.

So I started using Priority Mail. Also can go missing. My last one was a Mag 2D from U.S. then I opt for USPS EMS. So far no item got lost.

I didn't realize the whole cost of the package as the host was purchased a few month earlier. I should have opt for EMS.

Now I've lost one of the brightest drop in in the world.

DAMN Postal Service whichever they are USPS & Pos Malaysia. Panjang tangan

Well, what's done is done. Currently me & EG trying to check with USPS last known location of item.

I would like to suggest for the current Mini US Shopping Spree to be shipped USPS EMS. It's for peace of mind. I don't mind paying extra considering the total cost is over $1000. Lets say the whole package is 5 kilos = 11lbs. USPS EMS about $80. So $8 per person. I think its reasonable. USPS EMS Chargers

What do you think guys?

oouch! that's a huge losses.....panjang tangan are usually from our own post service.....trust me...

if you're using Priority Mail better insured your parcel....more safer  biggrin.gif [ sometime the parcel size is also the main factor....the bigger the parcel, chances of it getting loss is very slim...]

i'm getting nervous now.....our parcel is worth around USD1500 ++  shocking.gif  sweat.gif , sometime i rather let the parcel detained by our local customs and pay taxes....at least the parcel is safe with them.....all we need to do is to drive to LCCT, open up parcel in front of officer and declare the value, pay tax and take our stuff home  laugh.gif
*
I am also suspecting our local post office. They get excited, itchy hands when they see the USPS boxes or parcels.

Mine is insured but I don't know how it works. EG told me he'll cover all my losses after all exhaustive means being done. Nice guy but I don't feel nice too. It's not his or my fault.

No more priority mail for me if item is above $100. Too much to loose.

I have noticed that the same postman has been "prowling" my area for a long time. So maybe he knows who is who. And when it comes to me, he must be thinking...AHA new flashlight. Of all you know, he's one of us.

The first batch of lights, hosts & drop ins I got from the US from CPF were sent by First Class Mail and not even 1 got lost. It took 40 days to reach me though. That was the time when I was starting to be active. The 2nd batch a few got lost.

Something is fishy here.

Ok. The saddest man on earth now is going to yawn.gif

Agree with jwyj. That's fair enough. We can go by weight or volume.

Anybody care to explain how I can opt for registered and tracking with USPS Priority Mail? ***Never Mind. I got it***

Thanks.

Good evening Guys,

I need to fund my other project and this beautiful light has to go cry.gif . Thought of selling it here before I go to CPF. Countrymen comes first.

Up for sale is a Mag 1D cut professionally by wquiles of CPF, to fit the length of AW IMR26500 cell with a deep tail cap mod to make it even shorter. The mod is a Direct Drive single 100% mode P7. Installed to it are P7 DSWOJ bin, P7 D Mag heat sink, 15mm reflector & AR Borosilicate lens, all from Britelumens. I'll include one AW IMR26500 cell and the battery sleeve. Nice beam. Condition is mint. LED powered less than 5 minutes. Battery has been through 2 charges.

Just received some flashlights from opticshq, and I took out the turbo head to play with. It has a laser like beam that could not be any tighter or narrower without the use of an apherical lens.  Narrower than the tiablo A9 and I think it throws further too.

[attachmentid=1496509]

I think it is not too bad if anyone wants to have a LED thrower which is legoable in a e/c/m series surefire bodies.  rclxms.gif

[attachmentid=1496512]

They are on sale now but EMS to Malaysia is not cheap.
