The metal part as the conductor is the florescent lamp holder, the battery hold is also florescent lamp holder, both can get from hardware store or electric shop.  BTW, I need to file the plastic holder in order to allow the battery fit in not too tight.

note that I show a very good and cheap digital multi meter DMM, its UNI-T UT33C, it comes with a temperature sensor built in and a external sersor, good for measure heat of the battery or flashlight.

And it is less than RM60, but the default set has not calibrate so well, I calibrate the temperature and voltage my self.

So far so good lar, no need the battery case, because I want to mount the temperature sensor into the battery when charging, just like I charge NiMH battery, used to it.

Yo susu, great design and customization bro! After looking at it more, I have a question though. In your first pic, the way your charging terminal (crocodile clips) connects, are charging the 18650 batteries but with the same charge current to a 3.2v li-ion? Your resistor is at the other side... Also only those two batteries are charging right? rclxub.gif Maybe you can explain to me tonight if we go yamcha tonite laugh.gif

I'm meeting newspaper tonite. Who wanna go? It'll be in Seri Kembangan tho...

GRATS zenith! I still remember your earlier posts and what you've been thru to get the M6 body and now the LF P7 head laugh.gif

Very nice custom case there and good idea on re-using a tool box! thumbup.gif
Just a suggestion, up to you yea. It seems that you have a thick sponge for the base. You can cut thru the sponge, a rectangle shape with the same size as your M6+P7. Then with that piece, trim the thickness to half, and fit it back in the sponge. There you'll have a nice groove for your M6 to fit in so it won't move around. The top sponge pressing over it may not be sufficient. Do the same to store extra batteries, either vertically or horizontally. Then it'll look alot cooler cool2.gif

Thanks, I did look at this but I think he don't make it anymore. But the good news is I just had an almost 3 hours "gathering" with LightJunk. Just the 2 of us, nod.gif but enjoyed talking to each other. Most importantly, he gave me his spare MA02 bulb. rclxms.gif
We did take a few photos of our lights. Will post photos later.

Just received some IMR bulbs from Philightsophy... there are some lumen goodness... brows.gif

Host is Seraph SP-9, 2 x AW IMR18500. SureFire P91 and LumensFactory IMR-9 is using standard D26 head, while LumensFactory IMR-9L is using D36 Mini-Turbo head.
Despite what some cpfers experienced, the IMR-9 is actually as bright as P91. thumbup.gif
SureFire P91 beam is whiter compare to both Lumens Factory bulbs. IMR-9L on D36 Mini-Turbo head does not throw further, it's just brighter and floodier. nod.gif

Rookie, you need to lock your camera settings. In your pics the IMR-9 is brighter than the IMR-9L!!!! Hehe!

the camera settings are locked... nod.gif
this might be due to image format conversion and dithering with gif.
Let's try another, this time in JPEG.

not just the hot spot, look at the surrounding. The IMR-9L in D36 head is not throwy, it's very floody.

let's make a date to test it outdoor, polkiuj, bring your P91 along ya. pseudoblue, are you in? anyone with any incan setup would like to do some comparison? brows.gif

[EDIT]: i think i will use 2 x IMR 18650 when we meet as the voltage sag is lesser in this setup.

[EDIT 2]: i just refresh the whole page and notice the converted gif looks really really ugly... doh.gif my bad... sweat.gif
