Inquiry 100120:
Anyone to share a few ways of how you toilet trained your guinea-pigs? rclxms.gif

Actually to be more specific, when we bring the GP to a new environment, I would like it to recognize immediately that "the spot", a certain new spot has been designated as its W.C., like a newspaper corner, or a special zone. Basically, if you bring your GP temporarily to a corporate table, or to a carpeted new room. - This is assuming your GP is tamed and used to people, happily exploring new territories during the short period.

Also, simply asking for a few more other ways people have experienced and worked. Previous posts are meant for a designated gp-home/ caged, come on people, more ingenuity.

Hi SCC,
Recommending a few more Guinea-Pig [ 荷兰猪 / 竹鼠西医医生 ] vets in the
PJ - TTDI - D'sara - Bandar Utama - Bangsar area:
(aka Bangsar, Yeoh, Klang Vet Clinic & Surgery)
126, Jalan SS 24/ 2
Taman Megah
47301 Petaling-Jaya
Selangor, Malaysia.

* 200m from PJ-SS2 Taman Bahagia LRT station.

Dr. Ong

--> Practices western medicine. Recommended.
--> For treatment of guinea-pig illness, diseases, injections and surgery.

We'll be preparing an Eastern / Chinese medicine way of GP treatment, especially traditional and herbal medicines available in China... except many of the remedies are not available in western prescriptions. Translating the chemical properties to match both worlds is quite some work.

For the pure-blood, award winning pure breeds, with family tree records (up to many generations record, not saying here), price is way higher.
Demand for these in China itself is more than a cool thousand ringgits for one GP, and you are to "invite" it back, not 'buy'.

Meanwhile, there's ample supply of normal Guinea-Pigs, easily a thousand ekor a week, for Malaysia 700+ pet stores.
Both supply side and Malaysia airport, customs, health cert ready.
6 - 8 weeks old, systematic breeding.
Haha, most of the local bosses pretty cool with that so far.

Due to religious and group policy reasons, this avenue will be awarded to selected individuals [pm]. Malaysia only.

Hey JulieFashion,

One of your image picture is my baby gps picture, where u copy it from?  May I know what was the word written on that?

Yeah, noted your baby GPs some years back. So very adorable!
(Source: LYN's Juztiny's piggies pix)

Can't remember your babies to be Abbies during that time, the translation will be "localized environment" breeds by local breeders.

Internet speed trickles very slowly esp. away from M'sia, much is blocked, but happy to be able to see your pics.
Still got their names if you still keep them?

Anyway credos to dedicated home breeders and lovin peeps like you.
