You could bring back to PEtsmore and exchange the pellets. Don't trust any shop keeper's advice on GPs. They know nothing about GPs.

The trusted brand is Kaytee, Oxbow and Hagen pellets so far. The Living World brand not popular on GP food.

Thanks Juztiny!! ... ... i bought her cage, water bottle, vitamin, shampoo, odour spray, small dome, food tray...

yet to buy her hay,bedding,poo pee tray, and now i need to rebuy her pellets ... going to get her a mini fan for her too ..... since weather too hot lately .... what else did i miss out??

Wat is ur cage dimension.. For guinea pig.. It is always d bigger d better.. Unless u hav d time to bring it out for floor time more often..

it's base is the size of a huge sleeping pillow with 2 decks(ground & 1st floor)?? big enough ma???

i finish work den reach home will let her room around a while lo ...

If it is only one GP, that much of space should be ok. I presume the pillow size is 1.5' x 2'.

I found this site on rabbit breeds and GP breeds. One of the picture on Sheltie/Silkie Satin fur is amazingly looooonnnngggg! I wonder how the owner take care until so long....!

i went to Sunway today and i saw the SHELTIE!! gosh such a cutie pie .... its 8 weeks old and ady palm size huge ....

but i do planning to get a bigger cage later... cause i no transport ... i only manage to get that cage cause i have to carry it myself to take public transport...

Today I bath almost all of my GPs. And took some of their pictures....

Well..no worries, my dogs bark everyday, so all my gps and bunnies are get used to the noisy environment.

Wah so fluffy...wanna ask 1 thing previously panda gal cage's water is bottle feed or bowl feed ah? It seem not use to bottle feed de.. Wah.. My two male once saw her damn miang... Keep on wheeking and humping each other.. Like stating who is d boss 1st doh.. I hav to put up a close fence to d cage as i put their cage side my side... My two males keep biting d cage seem like wanna go to her cage.. Wanna ask normally 4 to 5 month is safe to breed d right? I mean d female.. And panda gal is 2 month plus right? Can bath her d right?

It's cute rite~ i wanna get but i really cant house anymore in the house.. haiz...

Well..although the book stated ideal breeding age is 4 months old onwards. I personally think fully mature for pregnancy age is best at 6 months old. I never experienced any pregnancy of my SOW below 6 months old. 6 months old still has not reach full size yet, kind of pitty for the SOW to carry big belly, where its belly was stretch to the max, after birth the belly may not shrink back in shape. This is what I observed from the SOW I adopted from one guy.

All my gps are water bottle feed. I don't use bowl feed, as bowl feed water easily get contaminated. No worry...new environment always not dared to eat and drink. Just leave it there, after some hours she will figure out the new environment.

but last night firecracker is too loud.. even as a human also the heart skip a beat.. .. herm ... Juztiny .. mind i ask how huge is her now??

It is still not reaching palm size yet. In fact the other Peruvian's babies which are few days old, are catching up with these 3 babies size. Ivory (your Yuki's mom) is quite slander, not very glutton type. Whereas Brindle all this while is very glutton and chubby type, that's why her babies are all very healthy.

den i must take good care of her ... since she seems more fragile le... i will confirm with u when i pick her up this week k... most probably maybe friday or sunday..

just wanted to ask whether it is necessary to give daily supplements of vitamin c to gps.
i am currently feeding them with hagen pallets, timothy and alfafa hay and lettuce 3 times a week.

p/s: pet shack has stock on critical care now, i just checked...

maybe u can add variety to ur vege menu lor.. try giv it some red,green or yellow pepper as well.. carrot also can do.. it is not necessary to giv vitamin C supplement if u gav it enough vege which contain vit c.. pellet also should hav d de.. do remember to keep ur pellet in dark , dry and cold place..
