Psst... share where u buy  brows.gif i need to get hay soon T.T green green or not? biggrin.gif

Actually not bad, much better than the petshops sold one lor. Timothy Hay is RM10/kg only. I got it from a rabbit breeder in PutraJaya. Since occasionally go office, on the way can meet him and take from him. Today is my first day bought from him. Alfafa also cheap only RM12/kg. Chopped alfafa is RM14/kg.

He found my blog and contact me on that. Now many rabbit breeders want to learn from me how to breed guinea pigs pulak. Since I put up my cavy blog, I get to know a lot of rabbit breeders and sharing my knowledge with them.

I think so. I see some poops but its not the normally huge amount.

Added on February 11, 2010, 8:03 pmi checked LAMB. his tummy is not bloated. in fact, its as skinny as hell.

i just forced feed him using the critical care (thanks god for Petshack for reminding me to keep one packet for emergencies) and a syringe. Then I checked his cage and found out that the water bottle is stuck, meaning LAMB cant drink from it. It might be just coincidence, but I fixed the water bottle and hope it will fix the problem. I hope he doesnt eat because he is dehydrated (which is weird, considering he doesnt even touch the cherry tomatoes in his cage).

will continue second round of force feeding after i return home. if hes still not eating, I'll go straight to hands and paws tomorrow.
*
Hopefully he could pull through back to normal after your critical care pack. GP cannot be fasting (empty stomach) for more than 12 hrs, or else its digestive system will shut down, even you force feed also can't go in.

Added on February 13, 2010, 11:39 pmToday the Abby Sow gave birth to 4 babies in the afternoon, unfortunately all were still birth....what a pity...

I think the Peruvian Brindle is almost due anytime now, she is also not moving and not consuming much. I hope her babies could safely born.

what do u think?
i play wif him the whole day...petting him always

Some GPs doing fine alone. No worry...as long as you could spend as much time as you could with him, and providing him love and touch, he should be doing just fine.

my guinea pigs...   rclxms.gif

a. male - black/white abby - McMac
b. female - brown/white/black abby - Aiko
c. female - brown/black - short hair - Michelle
d. female - brown/black unknown - suppose to be abby - jane doe

[attachmentid=1446259]

any idea what breed is the brown/black? thanks in advance...

The Jane Doe could be an Abbyruvian or a Peruvian. This is just my guess based on your picture, comparing it with other Abby, may not be 100% accurate. Now it is still young, wait till it is 5-7 months old, see how its full grown fur turn out to be.

Wah macam nice je.. Lol.. I cant seems to find hay supplier here in trg.. Lol.. will they b ok without hay for few more days till sunday? I m feeding vege and pellet.. My mom suggest to let them to d garden and help themselve.. But i takut later they lao sai.. Lol..
*
No hay is ok, even up to months also won't die, as long as your gps do eat pellets and veg. Garden grass...quite risky. Some plants are poisoneous. I know someone fed her GPs with "lalang"...seem ok though. Pandan leaf ok too. My GPs love corn's leaf and pamelo skin (the white part).

just wondering to ask .. does anyone use Living World by Hagen Company de Classic Feed/Complete food???

When i go to petsmore they intro it to me... they say inside got pellets and also mix with other ingredients and they said some guinea pig owners say its a better choice compare to just pellets intakes...

=.=" so after i bought it .. i realise .. oh yeahhhhh ... no corns for GP?? as it was written on the first page .. and the Living World Classic Food for GP got corn...

Just wanna ask opinion... is it suitable?? or else i go buy  another packet of food for baby yuki ~~
*
You could bring back to PEtsmore and exchange the pellets. Don't trust any shop keeper's advice on GPs. They know nothing about GPs.

The trusted brand is Kaytee, Oxbow and Hagen pellets so far. The Living World brand not popular on GP food.

it's base is the size of a huge sleeping pillow with 2 decks(ground & 1st floor)?? big enough ma???

i finish work den reach home will let her room around a while lo ...
*
If it is only one GP, that much of space should be ok. I presume the pillow size is 1.5' x 2'.

I found this site on rabbit breeds and GP breeds. One of the picture on Sheltie/Silkie Satin fur is amazingly looooonnnngggg! I wonder how the owner take care until so long....!
