I think they are slowly assessing how they should target their users. Or possibly even in the process of identifying their target users. Hopefully, they don't take too long lest the other smartphone makers take up the share of their pie first.
In terms of promoting, I've seen HTC TV ads on astro channels, ads on techie or guy-centric mags, billboards around town and on the NS highway etc. They're also 'trying' to be engaging on their FB page but are basically saying things that we already know.
At least they're trying to promote la, so can't say that they are not. My only gripe is that these are all too generic and not targeted enough towards geeks like us. Let's hope we see more interesting content and better deals for their fans from them.
