How sad. Is it either due to low popularity in Malaysia? But if you don't promote the HTC brand, people won't know  sad.gif

Or maybe Malaysia is not high in their priority...  cry.gif

I'm sure those marketers at HTC HQ know that Singapore represents just a little %-tage of their total sales. So don't worry cuz it will definitely not make any sense for them to ignore Malaysia as the market potential here is substantially bigger.

I think they are slowly assessing how they should target their users. Or possibly even in the process of identifying their target users. Hopefully, they don't take too long lest the other smartphone makers take up the share of their pie first.

In terms of promoting, I've seen HTC TV ads on astro channels, ads on techie or guy-centric mags, billboards around town and on the NS highway etc. They're also 'trying' to be engaging on their FB page but are basically saying things that we already know.

At least they're trying to promote la, so can't say that they are not. My only gripe is that these are all too generic and not targeted enough towards geeks like us. Let's hope we see more interesting content and better deals for their fans from them.

Rm1499 for a 1yr plan looks really delicious though... Will seriously consider switching to the "greener" side if it is true.

Gonna be a good boy and wait patiently for tomorrow's announcement.

Don't know how many times I was tempted to go AP ever since this thread was created lol

Seriously. How often would you be doing that on a day-to-day basis? Do you really need such accuracy? and for?

I for one won't be playing much games on the phone and as long as pinch zoom works fine, i'll be happy with it. Unlimited multi-touch is really like the least of my priorities.

I just check at Maxis web site - RM58, RM78 and RM88 respectively and need to bundled with at least a RM50 value call plan.  Thus, minimum is RM108 per month.  rclxub.gif

Digi data plan is more suitable for those like me who seldom make call - RM68 unlimited data plan and call charges will only be incurred when you make calls, no minimum fixed charge of RM50 like Maxis.

thanks dude.

hmm.gif prices are not too friendly it seems

I was Desire #53 at about 8:45pm. Car chargers were still very much available. Maxis sales staff was telling me that they expect a huge wave tomorrow. Better be there early.

Oh, and for those who want to port their number from another carrier (i.e. Digi or Celcom ⇒ Maxis), you gotta wait 2 days or so. Your line must be fully transferred to Maxis before you can get the phone.

I had no time to wait and also to go all the way back to KLCC, not to mention losing the chance to get my free car charger... so I just signed up for a new maxis line lol tongue.gif
