about the google logo ...
Desire is like a "new twin" version of Google's Nexus One. I guess HTC made a deal with Google to sell their own unit (called DEsire) but still maintain the Google little branding (to keep them happy). so, the deal is in fact, best of both worlds. Google still maintain exclusive with NExus One but HTC also able to sell their very own Desire with Google's "consent"  also, HTC's market is larger (i think) cuz HTC can target different regions (ie APAC) that is far from Google's online purchase (now no more oredi). |

i might want to wait for the accessories (casing, screen protector, etc.) before buying the unit. |
