QUOTE(alexcml @ May 21 2010, 03:37 PM) So I have Maxis GPRS unlimited plan at RM99 per month from long time ago, which I can get speed up to 2+Mbps and am unwilling to give up unless it is not really unlimited (download limit or throttling), so either outright no-contract purchase (if possible) or AP. if you read the FAQ from maxis' website regarding the new data plan, they mentioned that the previous RM99 package also comes with data cap at 3GB.If not really unlimited (comments from you guys welcomed) then it seems to be better to purchase from DiGi with contract at RM68 unlimited...if and when desire available from DiGi...does this sound reasonable? |

QUOTE(Cynox @ May 27 2010, 03:15 PM) becoz i work out the other way round: the RM10 rebate is only for 12months. after that you need to pay full RM58.RM2,199 - RM1,499 = RM700 / (RM58 - RM10 rebate) = 14.58 months of usage. EDIT: What i mean is the discount of RM700 by contracted for 1 year can pay for about 14 months of 500MB data usage. |
