y all of u still wanna buy this phone ... ClearPad wont make u go far and already outdated ... check this out ... same mathematical error on touch sensor ... y wont u wait and buy a better potential android device ... like samsung galaxy S
http://androidandme.com/2010/05/news/samsu...xtouch-sensors/maybe you just want to let people know bout the "negative" side of hTC desire...but honestly i dont really see the need for unlimited multitouch just yet, and which app that really use this feature to the max? the "infamous" Pong game? or to play some games that require more than 2 fingers (i still think it's hard to play a game that requires you to press the screen with more than 2 fingers)...if that's the case then you should wait for the new iphone as iphone has always been the "king" when it come to touch sensor and multitouch...
i'll be much more worried bout the pinkish hue than the multitouch problem and limited space to install apps (well at least until android 2.2 is out officially on the desire with majority of the developer supporting it)...
and how about 720p recording and xvid playback that hTC promised, will it ever be released on the desire?
as the matter of fact, go to this thread:
hTC Desire Flaws and Annoyancesthat thread in XDA list the potential problems in this phone...better yet, maybe you can check out the threads in hTC Desire General Forum and you'll see some problems that the users are facing...
after waiting for so long and now maxis will have the exclusive to hTC desire, i did thought of getting other alternatives or wait for my dream device, which is a device with the tegra 2 SoC...i do hate some of the "outdated" parts, like the 65nm 1GHz Snapdragon (even if it's fast, by year end 45nm 1.3 GHz will be out with more power efficient and better GPU), the clearpad sensor and the PenTile matrix, but come to of it, will this "outdated" parts affect in day to day usage? or do i want to get the best parts just for bragging rights?
will i still get the hTC desire? i will wait till the official announcement tomorrow before making my final decision...most probably i will make a trip to KLCC to test out first...
edit: BTW, Droid Incredible and EVO 4G are using the same sensor as Galaxy S...
