QUOTE(davidmak @ Apr 7 2010, 10:11 AM) Nope. Never will. Why? Because its HTC's turf and Desire will take care of it. Both phones are so similar to the core, it'll not make sense. so davidmak you got your phone from Terry already?By the way... nice signature bar rip off Price at RM2080? Ready stock? |

QUOTE(alexcml @ May 21 2010, 03:37 PM) So I have Maxis GPRS unlimited plan at RM99 per month from long time ago, which I can get speed up to 2+Mbps and am unwilling to give up unless it is not really unlimited (download limit or throttling), so either outright no-contract purchase (if possible) or AP. Yes, the old plan is truly unlimited but no longer taking in new subscribers. If not really unlimited (comments from you guys welcomed) then it seems to be better to purchase from DiGi with contract at RM68 unlimited...if and when desire available from DiGi...does this sound reasonable? You can read all about it in this thread here: http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/390525/+1480 It is a waste if you let go of that and go for digi. I'm sharing it with maxis multi sim. One sim for my modem and one sim for my phone but only paying RM99 monthly. |

QUOTE(cOMMANDER pRASNTH @ May 21 2010, 06:02 PM) Bro, about the multi-sim - is is also valid for data+voice plans? I wanted to know since I want to use my same line on my X1 and Desire? All sim cards are able to do calling / sms / data but you have to set one of the sim as active to receive calls + sms. I'm not sure for the new data package with quota. |

QUOTE(draco82 @ May 24 2010, 11:45 AM) I understand it is safer cause maxis charge extraordinary fees for extra usage for your info, digi got also free calls, sms and even mms between principle and supp line. but my usage is heavy between me and my supplementary line (can go up to RM2~300 a month some times) so maxis family plan quite suit me actually cause they have free call and video call between sub line~~ So there are pros and cons, that's why need to wait for launching then only decide~~haha!! maxis one is limited, while digi is unlimited free calls, sms and mms. So you say which is better? |

I read that maxis is the exclusive dealer for 1 month after that only you can get the original set from others, maybe HTC or maybe digi or celcom.

QUOTE(skittlesz07 @ May 26 2010, 06:40 PM) ok guys i really need some advice....currently im using prepaid...thought of using a postpaid plan...so im thinking of using this opportunity to get this phone and a postpaid plan....im not that a 'gayut' (in other means hanging) type of person I suggest you to buy this phone without taking up any contract or packages. So you don't need to be tied up with a one year contract. As you stated that you got wifi and the data package is needless. Honestly speaking maxis data is the most expensive ones. |
