We see this trend with Motorola Milestone. We also speculated the above scenarios. So better wait it out. After all, we've come so far waiting... 1-2 weeks doesn't make a difference. If you need a quick fix and have filthy cash hehehe... then buy some other phone first lor hahahaha

I understood a lot of Malaysian users consider Motorola as a uncommon brand so they don't hold much second hand value. But if the price between AP and SiS set is only RM100-200, then it doesn't provide much incentive and motivation to a prospective buyer to get AP. Thats what I meant. Unless SiS set no stock lor.

If price difference is more, then we could save a quick buck by opting for the AP. Sometimes I'm cheap too.
Ya ya, no difference if its gonna be rooted. As long as people don't buy AP at higher than ori or close to ori price, there shouldn't be any buyer's remorse. Hehehehe...

Coz of lot of custom rom and kernel available.
With A2DP out from froyo, extra ram on Desire no longer a advantage point.
Any new OS update also, Nexus one will be the first to taste it.. Yum Yum..

If you dun mind buying a Spore set ,  wait till say June when Spore telcos start offering it with contract . Then on the net you will see many sellers reselling out their units . This always happen in Spore and is one way to get a cheaper official set. At current S$898 retail - you will see prices reselling out at S$600 to S$700. Usually tied in 2 year contract with telcos unit sells for about S$200-$300 so those who recontract or sign up a new line make fast bucks reselling.

dear all , really interested in this phone. But i read some reviews from gsmarena stated that they encounter problems that during phone call
the other party can hear you loud and clear but at our end there is a constant hissing noise and its not a faulty speaker because with headphones its still identical. Does any one facing this issue as well?

By the way, how's the call & reception quality? i hope it wont give similiar issue as my previous ip 3gs did.
