Synopsis: Which to choose, the country or my friend--!? The "Continent of Cruzon", a world where people are born with magic. Lygatto, one of the rare people "without magic" in this world, is getting swallowed up in the whirlpool of a massive war. With Lygatto as the core, four close friends are connected by cruel fate in a spectacular war tale!!!
In the continent of Cruzon, an impending war between the Kingdom of Krishna and the nation of Athens is brimming. The people of this land are able to wield the crystals from the ground for whatever purpose they desire. Yet one person, Lygatto Arrow, is not. He is an "un-sorcerer", a person unable to wield the crystals. But this characteristic will enable him to pilot an ancient mecha, one strong enough to put up a fight against the invading army of Athens.

Based from manga by Yunosuke Yoshinaga "Broken Blade" (Break Blade in CMX version). It's 6 movies format with 50 minutes each & released in 2010. Damn I'm so pumped to see this movies & also 2010 will be an good year for mecha fans like upcoming Gundam 00 movie & Gundam Unicorn. Can't wait this movie to be released!. Production I.G & XEBEC are producing this anime for your information.

Dude...what is your problem?
Don't compare Break Blade with Gundam..they are different.Honestly Break Blade more interesting than Gundam in terms of characters & storyline.
I've read the manga..it's very good & I even hoped it will be animated.

dun misunderstanding me...i like break blade too. What i mean is some part of the story are nearly same with some gundam story. It is true too that some characters i thought will not die so fast in the story but in fact end so fast in miserable condition...

I thought Gundam was similar to Nadesico. :/
