the power consumption doesn't differ much between hd5870 and hd4890,you might as well get a atom sff pc for 24/7 operation if you don't need cpu/gpu power

ok,grab a lga1156 i7 system,connect it in a network with an atom sff pc.download using the atom

i suggest a i7 860 and hd5850 based pc plus a intel atom pc

on stock the i7 860 is faster and use less power than the i7 920
the hd5850 is just a little bit behind the hd5870 yet costs much less


Added on December 7, 2009, 1:18 amuses the atom as the downloader,should cost around rm800 [atom sff pc]

yup,better get the ocz kit,it's 1066mhz and cl7 at rm280,a better deal then the kingston ddr3 1333mhz

try and take a look at wellcom pc kb mall and pcdepot,they will be more expensive but still ok

why don't you assemble it yourself?as far as i know most parts in wellcomm are overpriced,but they are the only one who sells anything faster than a hd4870 here in kb

damn that's hard,but still last time i went to pcdepot kb they did assemble custom desktops,but,most of the parts i listed aren't available there

the atom is small,just a bit bigger than your palm opened,you can put it behind the lcd
