the power consumption doesn't differ much between hd5870 and hd4890,you might as well get a atom sff pc for 24/7 operation if you don't need cpu/gpu power
Need a suggestion for i7 rig, that use less power consumption..

i suggest a i7 860 and hd5850 based pc plus a intel atom pc
on stock the i7 860 is faster and use less power than the i7 920 the hd5850 is just a little bit behind the hd5870 yet costs much less Added on December 7, 2009, 1:18 amuses the atom as the downloader, should cost around rm800 [atom sff pc] This post has been edited by Racerx: Dec 7 2009, 01:18 AM |

why don't you assemble it yourself?as far as i know most parts in wellcomm are overpriced, but they are the only one who sells anything faster than a hd4870 here in kb
Added on December 7, 2009, 2:04 amiinm the delivery cost for those parts except dvd, casing and hdd is around rm300 This post has been edited by Racerx: Dec 7 2009, 02:04 AM |
