I'm thinking to cancel my AEON Jusco credit card (my only card) and go for Maybank Visa Flex as the replacement. The reason I think so is that I found that AEON cards is less privileged than other bank's CC. Any comment on this?

QUOTE(hye @ Nov 29 2009, 09:29 PM) It's your own personal choice. Personally, AEON Jusco card tops my "Cards that I'll stay clear list" So any Maybank Visa Flex card holder here? Is this card get to enjoy the Maybankard EzyPay as well?

QUOTE(hye @ Nov 29 2009, 09:48 PM) Bro ... MBB Visa Flex is a debit card, wrong section to ask this question. All debit cards (irrespective of bank origin) cannot do EZPay. Bro, it's a credit card... check it out >>> Maybankard Visa Flex

I got a question here, the credit card application form require the applicant to enclose the latest BE form, so what if I do not have one? Do I still be eligible to apply for the card?

QUOTE(hye @ Nov 29 2009, 10:38 PM) Depends ... I almost never had to enclose this form, mainly coz I have preexisting cards in hand. I'm not sure what your scenario is but if you have been working for at least 1 year and/or holding other cards then you can almost certainly ignore the BE form. To be certain, just ask your cc agent if you are applying through them. If you call in directly to the bank, they will ask you to include this BE form. Good luck ! Actually I'm a fresh grad who just been working for half an year and that's why I don't have any BE form...

Hey guys, I'm wondering how do the banks assess the CC application. I've been rejected by HSBC and MBB and I have no clue of what is stopping them from approving my application. I was thinking to replace the AEON CC which I have now with a bank's CC but I'm kinda frustrated of being rejected. Fyi, I'm a fresh grad who have been working for half an year and my income does meets their requirement. And can someone tell me that whether PTPTN loan and insurance loan get to affect my credit score? Hope to get some ideas from you guys... This post has been edited by wiind: Dec 7 2009, 10:39 PM

QUOTE(Aeon_Clock @ Dec 7 2009, 11:17 PM) CCRIS keeps a record of any and all your loans. No matter if its personal, credit card, house, study loan...its all in there. Insurance loan...dun think so. It also keeps a record of your payments in the past 24 months. So any bad record you have in the past 24 months...they'll know. I suggest you pay up all your debts before applying again...coz if I'm not mistaken...credit applications will also show on CCRIS. Too many will also show other banks that u couldn't apply with them...then they will probably reject your application on the spot thanks for the explanations and advises Some one told me that I'll have better chance of success if I apply through an agent (i applied myself in the last two attempts), is it true ?
