QUOTE(winner @ Sep 26 2009, 03:49 PM) Unfortunately, SCB has suspended issuing this card until further notice. It is the BEST ever cash rebate card I have seen thus far. It gives you 5% cash back for ALL retail transactions (including petrol) done on Fridays and 2% rebate on non-Fridays. On top of that, every RM1 spending gives you 0.5 reward points. noted with thanks |

QUOTE(hye @ Oct 3 2009, 12:53 AM) Yes ... you are right. The limit is set on a per daily basis. If you have a very large bill then you have to do the payment in least 2 days. Worst if you have too many cards to pay ... good thing CIMB offer cheap IBG fees till end of the year. let's say i swipe my card for a transaction of rm6k and my limit is beyond that and not acceptable since it beyond the daily pre set limit rm5k?Psst .... one secret, cost of IBG fees are lower than RM0.50. |

QUOTE(winner @ Oct 3 2009, 03:43 PM) I don't really get what you meant. OIC. sorry silly me. suppose this is cc thread and suddenly mentioned abt the card limit. i did not read properly and tot it was cc limit instead of giro... blushhh We were talking about Interbank Giro limit of 5k per day while you were referring to Credit Limit of cc. For cc, you can swipe up to any amount within your CL. For example, if your CL is 100k and your cc doesn't carry any outstanding balance, your can spend up to 100k and your cumulative spending (yet to be settled) cannot be more than 100k. The CL is on "available" amount limit basis. |

QUOTE(MilesAndMore @ Dec 2 2009, 04:57 PM) Credit line is quite a sensitive issue. You won't get a definite answer here regarding the credit line of HSBC Premier Mastercard. But one thing i can confirm you is that the starting credit line for HSBC VISA Platinum and HSBC Premier Mastercard is RM30k. noted with tx. jst wonderin whether to accept this card or reject due to the rm50 fee starting next yr.do u know the credit line of this card will share with other hsbc visa cc? or separate? |

QUOTE(hye @ Dec 2 2009, 05:12 PM) Your RM will probably say the card is necessary to identify you as the Premier customer. But I say you can always delay or decline the card while the status of the RM50 is clear. I don't think any PB customers from any banks will tell you their bank have announce for PB customer, bank will absorb the service tax. lol.. tx hye.. u are absolutely right.Premier card will have seperate CL from your regular HSBC cc. I gotta warn ya ... priviledge wise, it is no different from HSBC's Platinum. If I remember there could be a "World" word printed on the card but don't be fooled - HSBC Malaysia is not listed as one of the World Mastercard issuers by MC International. So you will wonder what's so special about the card. tx for yr advise. will just "return" it to them |
