Hi guys, got a question.
Can I cancel my cc even if I have some outstanding payment, say like ez payment?

yes you could, they would disable your card and the statements would continue to come until you finish paying it completely.

hi all,

was just browsing through the eon credit cards and noticed something which resembles a personal loan or the procedure where a shop *ahem* gives you cash when you charge to your credit card with some fees.

for the 3 years payment plan it seems to be charging around 5% per year and this seems a lot lower than the standard personal loan of 9-12%.

any catch in this thing?

There are four Hong Leong Bank branches here in Kota Kinabalu and guess what ? Only one branch has cash deposit terminal and cheque deposit machine    doh.gif    I mean come on ! Even the much smaller EON Bank and Alliance Bank all feature a complete set of self-service machines (ATM, CDT, CDM) in all their branches here  rclxub.gif

yeah, only available in the one beside standard chartered. not only that, hong leong machines look kind of old and give me the general impression that they were bought 2nd handed from other banks. if you were a hong leong shareholder i guess this is a good news as they are trying to lower the operating costs in the long run.
