I had to apply credit card, because need to register for exam, the only payment accept is credit card.I am looking at CIMB CC now, cos very convenient.

1.can u check ur credit card statement in CIMBclicks like ATM card?

just found out the minimum credit limit you can set is 3K. WTFLOL.

anyone know how long it took CIMB to update their credit card statement online at CIMBclicks? I cant even pay back !

why when u use CC at petrol station to pump petrol, they will deduct RM200 from your credit limit, regardless of how much spend at the petrol station(assuming u did not spend more than 200 at the pump station)

anyone still remember the CC surcharge issue? I emailed my bank and this is their respond:

Nevertheless, if the cardholders agreed with the surcharges amount imposed by the said merchants, the bank would not be able to do anything in this circumstance.  This is because the merchants would have indicated of such amount before they would accept any credit card payment.  In this respect, cardholders have the options whether to proceed with the transaction or not.

On the other hand, if the merchants charge the cardholders without any form of consent given by the latter, the bank will not hesitate to act accordingly on the complaint.

If the banks cannot do anything, you may try to direct the letter to MC/VISA. So far a lot of people have written to the respective banks but they have never written to MC/VISA directly.

that is also my bank advice.But that does not solve the root of this problem.
