is direct access cards same with cimb bank cards especially when applying for 0% installment

some stores only accept cimb bank and i hav direct access cards so just wondering if it can be used.

if i pay my minimum payment before the due date and i pay the rest before my billing date, will i still be charged with interest?

lets say i have an installment where i have to pay RM200 a mth for 12 mths and i make a payment for RM1000 will this amount be deducted from my installment for 5 months and not be charged interest for that installment?

i will still make prompt payment for any other charges i make to tht card.

just want to pay RM1000 1st to tahan for 5 mths and then continue paying RM200 after tht.
