QUOTE(arvil22 @ Sep 29 2009, 07:28 AM) I Apply Public Bank Coz I Am A Manchester United Fan Apply Just For Collection I Can't Wait For That Card Coz Can Get Player Signed Jerseys Yaya....... I won 2 signed jersey, back to year 2007. 1 was from G.Neville and the other one was from the legend of the legend - Ryan Giggs. Added on September 29, 2009, 9:34 amQUOTE(aeronlim @ Sep 29 2009, 09:08 AM) Really? Manchester United player signed jersey is harder to get, i think it is lucky draw gua... if not so many people apply then how? Roonie have to sign until hand can't move Are you using co-brand card (Giant, Airasia, Shell)? My friend using Shell, he is asked to enrol in Balance Transfer to waive the Annual Fee... It is not base on lucky draw. Last champaign, you have to be 1 of the 5 top spender of the month to win the signed jersey, if you are the top then you can fly to Old Trafford!!! But that was old-batch champaign, I am not too sure about this re-launch MUFC CC is it still the same T&C. This post has been edited by boonsin23: Sep 29 2009, 09:34 AM

I remember that was a tai kor mentioned about pledge time deposit with hsbc's platinum card back in V7, but i juz couldn't retrieve it. May the tai kor tell me which branch he pledges the time deposit with?? I went to USJ branch just now, and I was told to have at least RM150k.

QUOTE(MilesAndMore @ Oct 6 2009, 12:48 PM) You can apply for both Maybank and CIMB Bank credit cards. Both are quite good especially CIMB Bank Mastercard. Lots of discount year-round. No. He's not a taikor. Anyway, the VISA was applied through HSBC Kota Kinabalu branch. For Classic VISA/Mastercard i believe RM5000 is enough while Gold VISA/Mastercard you will probably need RM10,000. As for HSBC Platinum credit card, the minimum credit line is RM30,000. So your time deposit cannot be less than RM37,500. He/she probably didn't understand what you were asking. RM150k is the minimum annual salary needed if you apply using salary slips as stated at the back of their Platinum VISA application form. Thk u so much taikor MilesAndMore My time deposit is going to mature in a few more days, and i gum gum bypass the branch, so decided to walk in to inquire. When the stuff went to checked with his supervisor and told me need to deposit RM150k, i was got shock!! So now maybe i need to go other branches to hv a try. RM37500 can secure a card? My deposit is double of the amount oh.... This post has been edited by boonsin23: Oct 6 2009, 01:06 PM

QUOTE(MilesAndMore @ Oct 6 2009, 06:23 PM) You mean you have RM75000 in Time Deposit ? Since it will be matured in a few days you can go to any HSBC branch and tell them not to renew it. You can then split it in two. If you have access to HSBC online banking then you can update the maturity instruction yourself. Noted with thanks.

QUOTE(Aeon_Clock @ Oct 24 2009, 09:33 AM) I am going to keep some cards for a while to see the bank's responses...maybe they'll give some better offers to upset this 'service tax' yes i hope this will happen! Few banks can give cash rebate up to RM600 p.a. so I guess to offset RM50 to them actually is sup sup water.

it gotta be hard times for credit card sales personnel, instead of the banks. Banks can direct benefit the card holders by bypassing commissions to credit card sales personnel in order to offset the stupid service charge.

scb'c C/A will gives rewards point as well (rm100 = 1point if im not wrong), if you have rm50k, beside of interest we will earn reward point also. so 5000 point is about equal to rm20.80 (base on 12k point for rm50 tesco or parkson voucher).

In the end still can spend for the max CL wat! Can we ask those ministers if they hv 2 or more sets of car keys then they hv to buy 2 or more insurance policies in order to "protect" them?

QUOTE(MilesAndMore @ Dec 4 2009, 02:04 PM) The RM50 and RM25 service tax for principal and supplementary cards have to be paid to your bank directly. Your bank will then transfer the money to LHDN, not Bank Negara. This one is confirmed. Then I guess LHDN will trasnfer to mr najis?!?!?!
