Terminating cc over phone or fax doesn't mean that the card is OFFICIALLY cancelled. You still need to follow up with the bank and monitor the status closely, especially when dealing with those "efficient" banks.

ok... i jus get know that my CC hav been illegal used by pay ebilling for maxis.

was calling to maxis.. mana tau itu pkm clk sohai was told me maxis cant do anything about it. fine, call CC centre, ask me fil tis fil tat, dunno can get back my money or not.

any maxis staff here to help me? not big amount, jus rm200 only.

If it is not your fault, you'll eventually get back your money. It will take some time for the investigation to complete ... around 1-3 months. It is really not big amount of money to you then I'm sure you can wait. Don't bother calling CS as this is done by another department of the bank.

i just received the bank 10th Dec statement and on it stated 'Billing of GST will be according to your card anniversary month.' Can also redeem bonus points to pay the tax- 10,000 for principal and 5,000 for supp

i will scan and upload the statement tomorrow.. i suppose this is the first black and white statement froma bank?

You can't get their number directly. Best is you ask CS to ask that dept to call you back. Like I said, they'll take time to investigate.
Yeah ... make a police report and forward it to the bank. It'll help in the investigations.

CIMB Infinite Visa is free for life. For SCB, as long as you are using your card enough for that particular year, an annual fee waiver I think should not be a problem (by request).
