The RM 100 voucher comes in 5x RM 20 or 10x RM 10?
*
I got one stack all in RM20 from 1U MBB SC last weekend. I did not ask for other denominations though.

Jusco vouchers from Jusco itself comes in RM1(blue?), RM5(green), RM10 (red?), RM20(purple). Not sure if RM50/100 are available.

Prefer smaller denominations, as sometimes purchase RM25, can use 1x RM20 voucher and top-up cash RM5. No change from cashier for vouchers.

Update for you guys if you're using EON credit card.

Was confirmed by the CS that EON bank will be having a so-called promotion for their card members to waive the RM50 tax.

The condition is to use your EON CC for ANY transaction ANY amount for 36 times in a year (no limit to monthly transaction). I find it quite reasonable. laugh.gif And it was on the newspaper yesterday.

If i'm not mistaken, Hong Leong Bank has done away with the minimum RM50 swipe in order to be eligible for the 1% rebate during the relaunch a few weeks back.
HLB may have already removed the minimum amount requirement, but petrol purchases are still not included. Also, your total monthly expenses (excluding petrol purchases) must be more than RM100 in order to be eligible for the cash back.

You will not be granted access to Maybank Private Banking Centre.

200k debt before you reached 22...nice. But as long as u pay up on time...its ok. They don't care how much u borrow...as long as u can continue paying. That's what they're looking for.

Banks will still evaluate his credit exposure and risk.

I don't see any differences. The most important privileges that is important is whether they accept or not accept our card. If they accept my internationally-unknown EON, then that is good enough privileges we need. And that's the main reason I will be cutting my AMEX.
*
I have just done some banking transactions in a small Maybank branch at PJ. I saw a CS officer processing a stack of card cancellation forms with Maybank CCs attached. I noticed Amex cards too, including Amex Gold CCs and Amex Plat charge cards. The officer revealed that most probably the bank won't absorb the service tax and she has been receiving more than 20 card cancellation request forms per day since late last month. cool.gif

It is hard to believe them if it is not written in black and white.

Anyway, some agents from EON Bank went to my mom's office this morning and they said the service fee will be waived provided they swipe their card at least xxx times in a year. They are also giving out a fancy trolley bag to those who apply. Gift will be given on the spot and not after your application has been approved. I told my mom not to go ahead because we're not sure if the agents are telling the truth (about the tax) sweat.gif

Just stick to the card you applied for. To be frank, both CCs are not so great in terms of benefits given. If you have already got MC, then you should get a VISA, and vice versa.

You can personally link your cc to Alliance online banking. However, it won't take effect immediately.

You can write your full name as per IC, or follow the instruction at the back of your cc statement.

usually there is an example of the payee for cheque payment on your monthly credit cards statements. please remember to write down your Name, contact number and its designated accounts (As well as its amount, if you have more than 1 account to deposit with the single cheque)

You should keep the World Mastercard. This is because most of the promotions are solely for Mastercard only.

By the way, nobody will be promoting CIMB Bank or Direct Access until further notice laugh.gif

Did buy Star yesterday and the day before yesterday. Didn't notice any EON Bank ads though. Only remember i saw the RHB Bank VISA debit card ads and that's all.

After reviewing, noticed that the left are Master... No VISA  shocking.gif

I decided to maintain UOB Preferred Platinum VISA and to cut Citibank Gold Visa since UOB offers rebate of RM50 if we need to spend a minimum of RM100 transaction for 3 transactions within 14 days.

guys, I really think its not a good idea to list out the cards you have willingly. Remember this is the Internet. Just ask about those cards u have questions on...and keep the rest to yourself unless really need to mention.
