Hi all, may I know isit possible to view MBB Amex Gold CC statement thru M2U without having to "agree" to the TnC? What I mean is when I go into My Statement, it ask me to click accept or reject. But I not sure by clicking accept, my other CC statement will turn to online statement. Any other way to view Amex Gold CC statement?

QUOTE(winner @ Sep 25 2009, 09:23 PM) Income requirement for plat cc becomes lower and lower. Just imagine, a person who earns RM5k monthly salary could now easily get an SCB plat cc with RM30k CL. Oh ... So is RM30k the lowest credit line possible for Standard Chartered Platinum credit card ? Someone said the lowest credit line possible for UOB Bank Preferred Platinum credit card is much lower, around RM20k if my memory serves me correctly. As for HSBC VISA Platinum, the lowest credit line possible is RM30k. Was told its credit line cannot be any lower than RM30k, period ! If you are looking for a HSBC credit card with lower card, they will suggest you to apply for a Gold credit card instead.QUOTE(angle45 @ Sep 25 2009, 10:20 PM) haih...hey guys can give me some advice.... recently I apply for DA gold and AMEX gold... but both kena rejected and don't knwo what reason. What is the condition banker consider when my application sent out? BTW what is BE form? How long have you been working ? Most banks require you to submit 2-3 months of payslip. I think I may try to reapply by end of this month. Will the bank direct reject me coz I juz recently apply? |

So it means when you applied for DA and AMEX Gold you did not submit a 3-month salary slips as required by CIMB Bank and Maybank because you did not have a 3-month salary slips. I guess that is one of the reasons why they are rejecting you because if you read the requirements stated in the application form, it said that you should submit your 3-month salary slips. QUOTE(angle45 @ Sep 25 2009, 11:01 PM) I think I may try to reapply by end of this month. Will the bank direct reject me coz I juz recently apply? There is a rule that if you have previously been rejected by Maybank and CIMB Bank (Direct Access), you can only reapply for any credit cards offered by Maybank and CIMB Bank 6 months later. You may however, try your luck with some other banks such as HSBC, Citibank, EON Bank etc. |

Guys .... with the recent posts, I'm kindof worried what will eventually become of the cc holders. Trend seems to be low salary with high CL.
Signals a potentially high risk group if you ask me. Back then I couldn't get a card before being confirmed in job position. Today we have graduates who "demands" to have credit cards within months after starting their first job. Scary scenario. P/S I'm not being old fashion or a killjoy but I'm just being practical about the idea. This post has been edited by hye: Sep 25 2009, 11:34 PM |

BE form is a form to be submitted to Income Revenue Board declaring your yearly income activities for calculation of income tax. Since you have just started working, you definitely don't have it now. Anyhow, it is advisable not to provide this document to bank for cc application, as it is a very personal information.I think I may try to reapply by end of this month. At the end of the day, it's down to the user of the cc. CC's can be pretty handy (and at least there's some sort of reward element in it, as opposed to cash), but yea, it's definately much easier to get a card these days. I got my first CC bout a month or two after I started work, by just submitting 1 month's pay slip, before I was even confirmed.Signals a potentially high risk group if you ask me. Still, if one can impose some form of control on one's spending, CCs are the way to go; cash is so yesterday. imo at least =p |

If you don't have any CCs on hand, you need to attach 2 or 3-month pay slips with your application. Besides, a photocopy of IC is a must.Generally, agents will try their best to help you get a cc, as they need the commission. However, it sometimes also depends on luck. If you deal with unethical agents, the process could be longer, as some agents may purposely put your application on hold if they have achived their sales target. Some even automatically apply for you CCs you never apply for. I personally prefer to apply for cc directly from bank. Anyway, since you were rejected by banks numerous times and you are really eager to get a cc, you can try to submit your application through a cc sales agent. You may get some freebies then. |

The credit line of UK issued Platinum credit card (by HSBC, Barclays, RBS, NatWest, Lloyds etc.) starts from £2000, that is around RM11600. You got to admit that it is super low.QUOTE(winner @ Sep 26 2009, 07:46 AM) I try to guess, after VI and World MC, what would be the next for Malaysian cc market? Classic cc may become a history soon. VISA Infinite is essentially the highest ranked card category already. But none of the major US banks are offering VISA Infinite, as far as i am concerned. VISA Signature is widely available in the US though. Than there is this card called "World Mastercard Elite" which is not yet available in Asia. I guess Platinum credit card will soon become the entry card, the more affluent cards would be VISA Infinite, World Mastercard and probably VISA Signature and World Mastercard Elite (if they ever come). Once they have hit the credit limit of VISA Platinum and Mastercard Platinum from Chase, then they will switch to their VISA Signature and World Mastercard from Bank of America QUOTE(ellimist @ Sep 26 2009, 09:31 AM) Still, if one can impose some form of control on one's spending, CCs are the way to go; cash is so yesterday. imo at least =p I couldn't agree more !!!! Yes ... you can ignore whatever else the bank ask you once you have provided your 3 months salary slip. Unless your application requires more documentation then that's another story.regarding salary slip, my boss uses excel format and sign the slip. is it consider official? If I'm not mistaken, in most cases banks want to see the carbonised version of the salary slip. In your case then it should be alright then (make sure it got the company seal coz if not anyone could be the signatory and loses credibility) and if the bank ask then you explain it to them. |
