Hi everyone, whenever I try to play MapleStory, an annoying pop-up comes up and 30 seconds later, the monitor blacks out.
The pop-up says:
Not optimum mode Recommended mode: 1920x1080 ? Analog
It is really frustrating, as it blacks out every 30 seconds. Previously, this happened to Warcraft. But after setting the resolution higher in-game, the problem was solved.
But because MapleStory's resolution cannot be altered, I cannot solve this problem.
Anyone can help?

QUOTE(Faivon @ Dec 5 2009, 12:52 AM) Hmm, change your screen resolution BEFORE you enter the game? Just tried, failed.

QUOTE(benQue @ Dec 5 2009, 12:58 AM) just click any button at the bottom, the pop up should dissapear rite? There are 6 buttons on the right side of the monitor, pressing on the first one will make the pop-up disappear. However, the screen still blacks out after 30 seconds, with or without the pop-up's presence.

QUOTE(viqq @ Dec 5 2009, 01:58 AM) May I ask what is the resolution that you set? My resolution on my desktop is 1920x1080. The resolution of MapleStory should be 800x600. QUOTE(Beouwulf @ Dec 5 2009, 07:20 AM) Go to the MapleStory game folder, launch setup.exe, let it run and determine the refresh rate for your monitor. It says it refreshes at 75Hz. But the pop-up still appears, even when the Setup.exe is running(showing the MapleStory title with the admin).

QUOTE(AlexZai123 @ Dec 5 2009, 05:36 PM) I also using the 2233SW on this pc I'm using here. This monitor can support all resolution, the only problem is it can't support 75Hz, try change to 60Hz, for maplestory, just go into ur maple folder and find setup.exe. Once U can see the Picture, just follow the on-screen instruction, then u can start the game after that... Problem solved, but I had to literally "lie" to get the solution. Anyway, problem solved.
