i see that most of your images are rather blown out. try to keep a balance between ambient and flash-fill for better-looking images such as these =
warning, 1MB of images here. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « EXIF data is intact for those who want to know what settings i used. no pp except for cropping, watermark and resizing. even with flash power at 1/32, which is the lowest i can go, you can get nicely-exposed images without sacrificing background elements. |

QUOTE(satayboy2003 @ Dec 5 2009, 09:40 PM) indoor also no use la... in banquet hall white balance is 2500k. in main hall (hall 1), its 3800k, and in halls 1 to 5 on ground floor, its constant 4200k.QUOTE(xtorm @ Dec 5 2009, 10:14 PM) the main product hall is kinda dark right? can, flash just adds to the fill-in for the models faces. what's more important is balancing your fill with the ambient.wonder if i can get away with iso800 n f2.8 without using flash? only built in flashler... QUOTE(alexandros_18th @ Dec 5 2009, 11:36 PM) from what other dslrians told me, better to minimize the nothing-ness of above the head. better if the head of the person/object fits nicely to the upper photo frame. rule of 3rds la, sometimes it helps if there are distractions in the background.QUOTE(satayboy2003 @ Dec 6 2009, 01:24 AM) but vkeong picture got watermark also got misused... which is why i put watermark right in the middle of the pic lolthe person croping out the watermark and use it like no one business... you can ask vkeong for more info! can you see the blueness of her eyes? » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |
