hi guys, does any one know if the media prima channels show wc???or they simply dont have any money left to fight for the rights like they have done i n the past???
sheehshhh tv3 is becoming even more useless these days.i used to look up on that channel as one of the best among private free ones but now days they only have numbers(7,8,9) but no quality, and absolutely useless repeats only. |

QUOTE(robertngo @ Jun 20 2010, 01:12 AM) actually all the other member will be joining anelka soon thee french needs the flawed genius i dont know what Domenech was doing with this team of talented player, no leadership and no direction, during the game with mexica he look like he is paralyzed only able to stand there and look while the team go down one goal and them another one, other couch would by that time runining up and down the technical area and bark instruction to the player. |

well i guess it wasnt the french alone deserving rotten eggs when they go home.coz italy played just the same.
very disgusting stuff, and ive never seen the nazionale so lifeless, no will, no pride and so dead.lippi is a snob and so sombong for ignoring some good players he left. he was doing things right in the qualification but rather some how come the wc he has lost the plot. |

QUOTE(Jet23sky @ Jun 25 2010, 12:04 AM) Actually Italy really has the attacking skill to win the game, but the entire team is full of "old" man, they can't run fast, even opponent outrun them easily. Until it left 10min, every Italy team player is willingly to run to attempt to score goal, you can see that if they can attack like this on the first half. I bet they can score alot, in fact, they are just doing last minute work after all. Cheers well i doubt its down to the age factor.its more of a wrong team selection coupled with tactics and the major thing is no will/heart to give your best.yes gila/iaquinta is old, but why still stick with them when both of them were shit even in the first game.we had quagliarella, toto di natale, pazzini all ready to run at defenders and score goals and all of them were way better then the lazy gila/iaquinta.even during the qualification stages these 3 were our main source of danger and got us there in the first place. but no lippi has his so big as$ pride and head clouded and hell bent to prove he was right.i wonder why cant coaches accept some humility and for once go on and admit they were wrong. QUOTE(robertngo @ Jun 25 2010, 12:14 AM) the italian at least go down fighting till the end, but the defending is just embarassing for a italian team, the second and third slovakia goal would never have go in in the old italian team, well i dont call that fighting, its just a show of desperation.if they had some sense of responsibility for the shirt they were wearing, they would have actually do better defensibly and offensively in the 1st half.and trust the italian to came out with the best dive of the game, Quagliarella looks like he was punch by tyson when the goalkeeper just scratch his face. and the italian fan booing slovakia for diving is so funny in this campaign our defence was dismal, while our offence was limited due to our coaches stupidity and failure to accept he was wrong. QUOTE Lippi: "I take full responsibility" well this is a surprise, but its too late.grazie for wc 06 and the qualification stages for 2010.here's welcome to cesare prandelli.lets hope he takes the positive step with 1st securing qualification for the 2012 euro. Thursday 24 June, 2010 Marcello Lippi has taken “all responsibility for failing to prepare the team for such an important tournament. They had terror in their legs, heads and hearts.” The Coach lifted the trophy in 2006, but his return saw Italy crash out in the group phase for the first time since 1974. “I take all responsibility, none excluded,” he began in his Press conference following the 3-2 defeat to Slovakia. “Because if a team arrives a such an important appointment as this with the terror in their legs, heads and hearts, unable to express themselves, then it means the Coach has not prepared the squad properly on any level. “There are tactical and physical issues too, but I think above all it is to do with the psychological aspect. I felt this team could achieve something and evidently I did not prepare them properly. I expected everything but the performance of the first half. “I am very disappointed to end my second experience on the Italy bench like this. I certainly didn't expect it. I didn't think I'd win the World Cup a second time, but not to crash out in the group phase. “I wish my successor the best and thank all of you for these four years which were in part fantastic and in part very, very disappointing.” Italy hadn't gone out in the group phase since 1974, but this was the first time ever that they crashed out without winning a single game. The Azzurri staged a late fightback with Antonio Di Natale and Fabio Quagliarella, but it was not enough to avoid defeat and bottom place in the group. “I don't know why they changed in the last 15 minutes. I clearly couldn't prepare them for such an important game, if they played for 75 minutes unable to make any mark - in my view exclusively due to a psychological problem - then it is only the fault of the Coach. “When a team plays like they did tonight, the only person to blame is he who set them up. I see no other explanation. “This was not like the first two games, where you have other options. This was like a knock-out match, you win or you're out, but instead the team didn't build, put pressure on, attack or do anything for the first 75 minutes. “I do not regret returning, I did so with enthusiasm and it was an experience I strongly wanted to go through again. I was convinced we would do well, although admittedly probably not to win the World Cup again. “The two years leading up to Germany were fantastic, but our qualifying over the last two years was not disappointing. It was normal for Italian football, so my only real disappointment was in South Africa. “Losing two crucial players like Gigi Buffon and Andrea Pirlo did not help, but even without them we should've played differently today.” It remains to be seen what the future holds for Lippi, who will be replaced on the Italy bench by Cesare Prandelli. “I have already said I will take a break for a few months and then consider what I'll do in my future. “I still believe strongly in these players. It's not an issue over over-estimating these players, but you also cannot think Italy is what you saw today. Evidently I was unable to put them in a condition to express themselves. “I am not painting myself as a victim, I say it because I believe it. I feel that I played an important part in the 2006 victory and at this moment was unable to replicate those psychological conditions. “Of course I know what we are heading into with the media. We were already on trial before the World Cup, let alone after a performance like that. This is why I have auto-condemned myself.” This post has been edited by mhyug: Jun 25 2010, 12:47 AM |
