EL PIPITA scored the first Hatrick in this World Cup. Hope he can continue this form to become the top Scorer for this world Cup though I don't think they can go far with that kinda performance.

England, France and Italy = Booooorrrinnnggg~

Anyway, love the enthusiasm in most of the lower ranked teams and for me they have Cohones to go and attack those heavywights from Europe and South America.

Algeria is one of them although their finishing left a lot to be desired but they did try to attack and defend well while England just sucked at ALMOST everything. Bored of hearing people say "no luck". Pfft~

Teams like Italy, France and England played like they have no plan B~

No offense to anybody~ Peace..

england got so much pass that go straight to algerian player it is comical  laugh.gif

their attack look so weak even the not so steady algerian defense are not too trouble by them, why does they keep blasting long range shot where most of them got no where near the goal.

What's up with all the long shots in this World Cup. I guess it's true that the ball is very light but that doesn't make any of those players to become long shot maestros. Plain stupid.

I was amazed yesterday. Chile played one of the most exquisite football of which I haven't watched for a very long time.

It was fast paced football with precised and creative passes, and almost perfect off the ball run (movements). They were very fast in winning the ball as well. The dribbling was fantastic and they were brave to try whatever they are good at and never held back even when they were one man down. I respect that.

Almost all their forward players used both legs to pass and control the ball. Oh ya, ball control. It was fun to watch them control the ball in such manner that Spain were left bedazzled and not knowing what to do when they came up against players like that. Just love it.

They lack of discipline and that's what cost them the match.
I know people will root for more organized and disciplined football.

This will almost be the same as Brazil vs Chile back in 98' WC. It won't be as exciting as before but it will be interesting those 2 come against each other. Chile were fantastic and Brazil were awesome like always but the main difference is Chile lack of discipline while Brazil portrays one of the most disciplined football in THIS world cup.

This lackness will again cost Chile the match but expect nothing less from chile as I'm predicting they will break the deadlock while Brazil will comeback slowly from it.

From my point of view, apart from being discipline, Brazil were also almost consistent in all their matches except for the match against Portugal. Dunga used that match to give some of his young players a chance to experience themselves the pressure to come up against a team like Portugal. It was a good move and they were not disappointing in my book.

So, my answer is No. Chile will not have a hard time to attack Brazil but they will have a hard time to capitalize their chanceS against them while Brazil will have a hard time scoring but eventually, they will score.... and not just once. smile.gif

Brazil will have to bring their A game for this and if they do just that, expect one of the most best football match in World Cup 2010.

Edit:Just my 2 cents and yes I might be wrong~

well chile have beaten brazil in the qualification stages in the past.so who knows what will happen.

Well, if my memory serve me well, Brazil were not impressive in their early qualifying stage. I suppose maybe Chile beat them in that particular time frame. Brazil evolved later then and became more effective. But, I love surprises, so hope Chile will do something about it. tongue.gif

Brazil were both impressive and consistent and how Dunga managed to make his players adapt to such disciplinary level is beyond me.

Thanks to both Chile (Chile vs Spain) and Brazil (for all their matches in this WC)for making this competition interesting as before. Oh ya, Germany deserves the same credit as well.

Not to mention the joy to see all the boring teams without any proper plan and formation kicked out before quaterfinals except for South Korea. I really thought they can make it to Quarters.

But hey, it would be a crime if Uruguay didn't make it to quarter with that Suarez' 2nd goal. Phenomenal~
